Ultimatum: Gog can't release emulated games, because it would be too much work modifying it,also it would be really hard to get permission to do so.
So there isn't any chance at all?
Because if there was at least a tiny chance I'd put Suikoden II on the wishlist.
I'm sure it would interest quite some people seeing how expensive the Playstation version is.
And it IS a Good Old Game after all.

Emulated games from consoles and old computers is pretty much the holy grail of GOG. Unfortunately it seems it's as likely as someone finding the real holy grail.

Unless there is an official port, like the SEGA games on Steam or DotEmu, I'd say no.
Oh. :-(
Konami owns Suikoden so I shouldn't hold my breath (or hope for The Grail), I guess.

What if a PC port was in the works but just cancelled? I'm sure with enough support the GOG team could pull something like that together. Just an idea though

Suikoden would be awesome! althought also owned by Konami/Lucas Arts it would be cool to get Zombies Ate my Neighbors. Only released on SNES as far as I remember and no plans to ever do anything new with it :(

N0x0ss: I'd love to see Snatcher (Sega CD Game) as an official english or atleast english subbed PC version.
That and Policenauts
There are very very few games not released on PC that are worth playing and not available through emulators either. Looking back, the Xbox has few games that weren't released for PC that were also worth playing and most were very typical console games that wouldn't have worked on PC anyway. For the rest, there's emulators. I've been playing Gamecube and Wii games all weekend with near-perfect emulation in much high resolutions and running much smoother than on my Wii.

There isn't only availability to think about. Giving it the GOG treatment of ease of use and extras is a big plus.
Granted I don't know how easy the current emulators, both for consoles and old computers are to use so my point might be moot.

Technically GOG is already distributing emulated games with DosBox being an emulator (especially in case of Mac releases which AFAIK are PC games bundled with a Mac version of DosBox, right?). I guess the only problem with console games is that the respective emulators require images of the original system's ROM, which is pretty much always heavily protected by an army of lawyers, balrogs and what not.

There are emulated versions of Suikoden II around, no question, but I'd prefer to buy the game here on GOG - legally, easy-to-use, with extras.
(I was stupid enough to sell my English PS1 copy of Suikoden II many, many years ago, and seeing its current price I won't be able to afford it again. So yeah, my fault.)
I was always sad the first Silent Hill never came to PC, I wanted to complete the series. Also would have liked the Resident Evil 1 remake.

The SNES and Genesis Shadowrun's always felt like they'd be more at home on a PC to me, the SNES game especially would of benefited from a mouse.

There's little I wouldn't do for an English translated Shining Force III compilation on PC.

And Heavy Rain, I guess.
As for some of the console-exclusive titles I would like to see (legitimately) on PC (as unlikely as it would be):

Soul Calibur series
Metal Gear Solid series (only MGS1 and 2 have ports)
Red Dead series
Castlevania series (especially Symphony of the Night, the first two or three games actually were available for PC as part of the Konami Collection)
Driver 2 (I think the only "big" Driver release without a PC version)
Killzone series
Resistance series
Halo series (only 1 and 2 have a PC version)
Gears of War series (only the first one has a PC port)

I know, usually I bash on the console shooter franchises but still I'd appreciate a legitimate chance to play them on PC.

I did find it so they have no excuse not to do it. It's being cleaned right now so I can't show it to you...you're gonna have to take my word for it.

Radical Dreamers. I'd really like to play it but I don't want to buy a japanese Super Famicon, the Satellavision addon WITH the game included and learn japanese. So if they could just make something halfway official out of the english fan patch, that'd be great.
Edit: Nevermind. I need to read a little slower. :P
