muttly13: Come on, nobody? Starcraft.
I think Starcraft has enough fame that nobody even has to mention it anymore
and it's probably too much Sci-Fi for OP.
Starcraft: Broodwar is a timeless gem of course, could just use a better HD-Mod than the buggy available ones.

He would like, not a requirement per say. Plus honestly, whats the setting in an RTS? Just pixels differences... For GOG specifics Celtic Kings isnt bad, just picked it up myself. Lords of the Realm 2, Knights and Merchants have some more depth than your standard RTS. I also enjoy Cultures and Nations.

jgbravo666: Im searching for strategy games like warcraft, but I only found Tzar (and I already have a fisical copy)
And from Tzar you get two Seven Kingdoms, also available on GOG. It plays a lot differently than Warcraft, it's certainly more complex, but it kinda has a bit of that Warcraft 2 feel to me.

Can please say me others estrategy games like Tzar, but with more fantasy, like in warcraft.
Almost I forgot, if posible with online or lan multiplayer options :P

Thanks, and sorry if I make any gramatical error.
Battle Realms is the closest thing to Warcraft in GOG's catalog.

Oh yeah? Well, challenge accepted!

...three hours later...

Damn, you're right.
The Warlords Battlecry series comes closest, especially the third one, which is more story-driven .
Thanks to all for the recommendations.
The reason that I´m asking for fantasy rts is for my nephew. He hate strategy and rpg..but now, he is playing Clash of Clans in his mobile. And now I´m trying to play with him a true RTS.
But to not scare him, Im searching for games with graphics like Clash of Clans, and I dont know why, but the first game I think when see the graphics is Warcraft :P
Of course I have a original CD of warcraft 2, 3 and starcraft, and some more games, like age of empires, settlers, and some more complicated like Civilization. But I only one of every game, and I cant play multiplayer.

Thanks again, I will see some gameplays and images of the recommended games.

I would of suggest it but it doesn't fit well with the type of game style.

Ragnarblackmane: I was totally gonna recommend WB3 as well but apparently it's a real mess trying to get multiplayer to work.

I'd also second the Battle for Middle-Earth, especially 2 and the expansion Return of the Witch King. Amazing, amazing rts and they're still modding it too. I would love to see gog carry it but ya know, licensing.
As good as it is, trying to find a copy of the game without getting ripped off is comparable to making Frodo's journey to Mount Doom. OK, not the best analogy, but it is very hard to find a cheap retail copy nowadays. As for the licensing, even if the rights were sorted, that would still be no good, because the current rightsholder (Warner Bros) has not signed up with GOG.
If you try game stores it could be hard, but I've seen a lot of bookstores selling videogames. I got a copy of Tribes of the East (stand alone HoMM V expansion) and Dungeon Siege 1 + LoA, both for total of 8 bucks, and I've also seen Beyond Good and Evil for 4 or 5 bucks. What's funnier is that the games are just lying there in a corner, almost like if they were forgotten :P

Like books... thus the bookstore! But indeed, sometimes you find games in the weirdest places. Ages ago I really wanted to get Army Men 2 and was unable to find a copy anywhere. Eventually I discovered it at a "fantasy shop" specializing in tabletop games and RPGs that never seemed to have more than three or four PC games on display (and usually banned ones - that was back in Germany... and having them on display was probably illegal :P).

Kohan

.... and it would have ended the thread if it was on gog :)

(edit : or not, because it can be considered closer to 4X than RTS)

Not to be too OT or possibly trolling, but is that seriously the best name they could have come up with for that game? XD It looks great and I'm sure it is, but a different title is needed. :P
