I use to play this game over at my friends house and I just can’t remember the name. I think it was in the late 80 or early 90. I believe you started out in a jet, then you came to a desert and jumped out got into a jeep and fight your way to water and get in a ship or sub; I can’t remember now. It was a 2D scrolling game. I want to say it was commander something but I just can’t remember.

Any ideas?
Commander something? It's not Commander Keen?

* I have not played the game, so it is just a random guess based on the word "commander".
Maybe Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure?
vertical scroller? Commandos?
I totally remember that game! Just wish I could recall the name of it... omg... what was it?
It sounds a bit like SWIV, in this video you can see the jeep being exchanged for a boat.
It was definitely a side scrolling game. Really old, Commander Keen had a lot better graphics then this game did. its killing me I just can't remember what its called.
metal slug?
but its graphics weren't bad...

Ok here the next game that been buggy me for years now. It was a fantasy turn base stratagem game set in a medieval world. From what I remember you had to build an army and manage money but I don’t remember any type of castle building or upgrading. I remember the typical units like knights and archers and I believe mages. The map was small, maybe 5 different armies. The map was mostly a green fields, some woodland and mountains made the boarder.
