For 2011, I managed to restrain from posting after beating each game. Summary posts were appreciated last year so I decided to complile one. And then almost forgot about posting it. Here goes:

2011-01-10 Angry Birds (Android). I know they've since released more levels but I'd had enough by the main game and Seasons stopped working on Android 2.1. It's an OK game, no strong feelings either way.

2011-01-15 Cave Story (Wii). Again. I wish I was able to find more secrets. Usually I'm fine with spoilers after I've beat the game once but this one seems to be special.

2011-01-23 Jett Rocket (Wii). Nothing you haven't seen in GC/Wii/PS2 platformers but the only thing that makes this 1000 point WiiWare gem seem less than a steal is the length.

2011-02-14 Metroid II: Return of Samus (Super Game Boy). Slowly progressing through the Metroid saga in plot chronological order, I got my Super Game Boy on and beat the fifth game. It was OK. Next up is Super Metroid.

2011-04-07 Bubble Buster (Android). Just another commute pastime. I think I need to play the original Puzzle Bobble/Bust a Move.

2011-07-12 Grandia II (Playstation 2). One jRPG with extra cheese. Great battle system but oh god the cheese. The PS2 port of the Dreamcast original could perform better but at least it doesn't get stuck in loops or crash like the Windows port.

2011-07-28 One Curious Nightfall (Windows). A cute, short little game with beautiful music.

2011-09-09 Half Life 2: Lost Coast, Episode 1, Episode 2 (Windows). Finally bought The Orange Box. I already owned the main meat of the box as gift/freebie so I waited for the price to come down for just the Episodes.

2011-10-16 New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Wii). Whee.

2011-11-02 Voxatron (Adventure) (Windows). Surely to be revisited during the development cycle. Pew pew.

2011-12-04 Seiken Densetsu 3/"Secret of Mana 2" (Super Nintendo). Almost done with the Mana games. Can anybody recommend any co-op RPGs?

2011-12-21 Paper Mario (Wii/Virtual Console). Simple as pie, cute as buttons.
