I don't see a problem with it being on here, infact i can't imagine it won't be. It's just about the timing.
I'd imagine that if it came on GOG it'd just have the same kinds of extras that other gog games get (avatars, wallpapers, art, maybe soundtrack) - which GOG versions already have over other games anyway.
For most those would fall into the category of "nice to have" not "essential". I can't imagine cd projekt would make a gog-version with extra in-game content.
They have to get the timing right to bring it on here - I imagine a lot of GOG users might be waiting for it, but the longer they wait, the more of us will get tempted by a sale like gamersgate or steam. On the other hand, once they put it up at 9.99 standard price, every other retailer is going to drop it\s price permanently - so they don't want to do it too soon.
But I think the time is about here. (too late for me now). Maybe they could let existing users register it on GOG? Now THAT would be cool.
PS/ and at the risk of going further off topic, this means i now have games on 7 digital services (4 with only one game each)- and when thinking about that fact I discovered about 4 games I'd totally forgotten I had. I wish there was a way to have a unified list in windows of remote and uninstalled games.

It's just like the retail version. Apply the patch that removes the DRM and it'll be gone. But the base non-patched version of the game (which is the initial download) will obviously still have the DRM on it.

I bought The Witcher and it is patched to 1.5, which removes DRM. The patch setup is in a folder in the temp files, and it's automatically installed.
However, I don't know if the DRM is installed and immediately removed or if it's not installed at all.

anybody else having troubles buying something? I try to buy Loki but it doesn't work. I can log in into gamersgate but when i click buy the site locks down...

My guess is, they are updating the site. I can't even get into it right now without the layout looking like a mess.
I caught a glimpse of this week's summer sale - seems like they uploaded the picture on to the scrolling frame already, and it includes Mass Effect 2, though I could be wrong.

This isn't really related to the Summer Sale, but did anyone else pre-order Vicky 2 from Gamersgate? I'm tempted to get it. I have to admit though, I'm not a big fan of the industrial movement, though I have a good foundation on the subject and imperialism. I am also a huge sucker for 4X games, and the pre-order version of V2 comes with so many goodies, it's hard to resist at only $40.

sorry not my kinda game i'm afraid so can't help you with that. But like you said, it gets a lot fo goodies and well if you really really like a kind of game it must be really bad for you not to like it. At least that how it is with me.

Paradox's games are awesome, but they tend to be extremely buggy when they are out. And I mean extremely. HoI3 was unplayable for months, even though it is great now. So I would wait one or two months for the game to be patched, and then buy it at discount.

Uhhh...those have been on sale on GG since Wednesday, dude. :)
