Unfortunately, Neverwinter Nights 2 Gold is no longer available in sale. And while I can get to the store page for NW2 and the expansion pack from the "My Games" page, neither product are now showing up in the search bar.
So it's possible that GamersGate have had to remove it from sale altogether =/

Just checked both Direct2Drive and Steam and Neverwinter Nights 2 is not available in neither of those either. Was GG only DD vendor that had it? Anyone know what happened?

Crassmaster: Looks like Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2 have joined the sale. Regular editions for $14.97, Deluxe editions for $19.97.

gyokzoli: These are weekend promotions with Torchlight as well (75% discount for the latter).

I don't want to see any more Torchlight %75 off deal please. It is happening nearly every month. LOL.

It was never available on Steam. Was sold on Direct2Drive and GamersGate but both have now had to remove it (at the publishers request) due to a legal reasons (some sort of silly fight over who owns the rights).

Well I did know about Hasbro's and ATARI's dispute over D&D license but they went to court last december last year. I tought stalemate would last until some sort of court order came to effect or the two made some sort of deal. As far as I know, neither has happened as of yet. Did Hasbro gain preliminary injunction forcing ATARI to pull the NWN 2(ATARI store itself still sells them) from DD vendors? Is there any announcement or news about it anywhere?

I just wish they would take out the DRM and I would buy it.
Strange, I've got prices in $.
Good for me. :)

Really glad now I snapped it up. Funny that I asked GG about NWN2: Storm of Zehir expansion and they said they would love to sell it but weren't allowed to for legal reasons. Next day NWN2 is gone from the sale. Hasbro must love not making money.

Lol, your question may be the cause of the dissapearance of NWN2. Just imagine, you asked GG, they asked Hasbro about the expansion, and Hasbro said: 'What, you are selling NWN2?!? No more!'

Sadly, that's probably exactly how it went down, more or less. Although it would probably have been Atari who said stop.

I love a conspiracy as much as the next man and it's appealing to think of companies like Hasbro and Atari having twitter police. However it's more likely their attention was drawn by the promotion of the sale and so many new users updating the game on the official servers.
Is it possible to use mods on the games downloaded through GamersGate, even the ones that have Securom? Also, I also heard that the Witcher has a patch that gets rid of DRM, so is it possible to use that patch on one sold through GamersGate?

Mods: To the extent that all DD services support modding. If the "mod" is an add-on, no problems. if the "mod" requires changing the executable, there MAY be issues since DD uses slightly different ones (basically just different DRM).
Witcher patch: I have yet to test the TWEE:DC I bought on GG (price was right, and Impulse annoys me :p), but the patch was designed to remove disc-check DRM, and GamersGate already doesn't have that.
I am glad I snapped up the NWN 2 offer before it was removed. The expansion pack has a pretty good story imo. :)

Most mods for games don't require changing the .exe files, do they? I never had to replace the .exe file for Oblivion, although some mods required using another .exe file. Won't that cause problems?
