Pheace: He did say "if u pay $6".

So basically if you pay $6 it's like a normal indie bundle being sold by Steam or GG, Developer/GG take a cut, kind of like a normal sale. Like the $5 for 5 indie games bundles Steam had for instance.

Just, on top of that, you get the option to pay more now, and that money goes to the developers.
Yeah, but he thought that if you only paid $6 then all of it would go to GG and none to the devs. I was saying that this isn't the case.

What you're saying is the same as what I said. ;)

grynn: http://www.indiegamemag.com/gamersgate-announces-the-indiefort-bundle/

The IndieFort Bundle will be going live this Thursday, April 5th 2012 and if you really wanted to, you could get it for as little as $6. That said, please do try and think of the hard working developers who put their heart and soul into these projects. The reason for guilt tripping you is that anything over the minimum $6 goes straight to the developers themselves, no cuts for anyone else at all.

There are other incentives in the form of tiered unlockables though. That means that there are more goodies up for grabs upon reaching targets like 10k units sold, 20k, 30k and so on – we’re talking soundtracks, art and other surprises that will be announced when the bundle goes live. If enough people buy the bundle to reach 50k units sold in total, then the developers will release their upcoming games for free to those who bought the bundle.

It will have these games,

Cardinal Quest $4.99 (drm free)
Black Market $9.95 (drm free)
Kenshi $11.99 (ALPHA) (other drm)
Steel Storm: Burning Retribution $4.95 (securom)
Demise: Ascension $32.50 (i could be very wrong http://decklinsdemise.com/order.php -- requires internet for install)
Wanderlust $10
Cardinal Quest $4.99 (drm free)
Black Market $9.95 (drm free)
Kenshi $11.99 (ALPHA) (other drm)
Steel Storm: Burning Retribution $4.95 (securom)
Demise: Ascension $32.50 (i could be very wrong http://decklinsdemise.com/order.php -- requires internet for install)
Wanderlust $10 (single player and 4 player online coop)

Welp. Indiefort just changed the dungeon crawler from Demise to Devil Whiskey. Might still get it, but Demise was the game I was the most interested for.
Very interesting. Did Gamersgate actually tease at this before, or is this a sudden marketing move?

I wanted to get Devil Whiskey from Decklin's Domain, but I'll get it from Gamersgate after all. Maybe I'll pick up the boxed copy from Decklin's.
I've been interested in Kenshi for a while, so this makes me happy. :D
I wonder why the change?.
Just a clarification from Decklin: The Decklin's Domain game in the bundle is Devil Whiskey, not Demise: Ascension.

Just to inform you that the game in bundle will be Devil Whiskey, not Demise so you may want to wait.

Neat ill get this for Devil Whisky alone but the other games look interesting too. Damm why so many indie bundles just now.
What's worse is that the bundles are actually PRETTY DAMN GOOD.

Hell, even the groupees bemine 2 that was announced is pretty decent. Nothing that contains both sol survivor and killing floor can be called subpar.
Can't find any mention whether any of these games are DRM free anywhere.. It sounds like a very good deal considering how much these games are currently worth.

If you read the user's comment properly, they wanted Devil's Whiskey which IS in the bundle, not Demise. Both are sold at Decklin's Domain however.

Considering it's GamersGate store bundle, the logical place to look for such info would be GamersGate store don't you think? ;-)

I'll spare you the trouble:
Black Market - DRM Free
Cardinal Quest - DRM Free
Devil Whiskey - DRM Free
Kenshi (Alpha) - Other DRM (Presumably serial key)
Steel Storm: Burning Retribution - SecuROM

Err, reread my post as that's precisely what I wrote, twice actually ;-p

Yeah i actually saw all that initially, but what im wondering is will the actual bundle itself be available DRM free, or we stuck with what comes with the individual games?.

Knowing GG they'll just be linking you to the game already in their catalog.

But GG is in Sweeden, right? It's going on about noon time in Stockholm and I'm still not seeing any mention of this Fort Bundle on GG's site.
