The magic word here is advertising. Personally I`m not against it. But usually people pay for advertising on any resource. :-)
Everyone is telling the same - we`re not against users sharing news about promos on other platforms. There were lots of them before on our forum but they were without any direct links. News is news, link to the place where you can buy is an ad (but again it is mine interpretation).
P.S. As an idea to community - probably it is better to create a special thread about promos on different platforms?

Nah, there will be a ton of people who will continue to link to promos who don't know there's a special thread for it. We see that with the beg threads ALL THE TIME.

Might help if it was stickied and had a flashing red font, that's at least twice the size of normal.
Heck, all stickies should probably be like that.

it's a great idea if there was someone around to regularly merge the new threads into that topic when they get made. It works on the Steam forums as that's what they do for repeat topics -- such as that whole 1 dollar 1 euro thing.

Don't forget a marquee !

A sticked promo thread would have it's downside to GOG as well. A thread, at the top, telling you of other places that have games. Aside from it becoming an obvious advertisement, threads will be still created.
Unless you want to open it to any kind of deal (with a gaming focus preferably). 23% of gamepads at company XYZ! and so on. It's less obvious at the advertising/competition angles.

Not blink... pulsing is the new blink (courtesy of the WebKit guys inventing CSS animation - probably won't work in anything other than Safari 4 (if that) at the moment though).

I briefly looked at the page and noticed one person bemoaning the CSS tricks and wishing more support were given to SVG instead. :\

So I tried out the Cryostasis demo. It seems like an interesting game, but the performance is weak. It's playable, maybe 25-30fps most of the time, but I'm concerned that I may face significant problems later.

Is that the PhsX demo? Because it is much easier to run the game without any of that stuff turned on. I'd say it's worth it.

I turned off the PhysX effects, but I don't think my hardware supports PhysX anyway. I have an ATI card (which I'm told performs noticeably worse in this game than an nVidia card).
