This here be a thread for people who like playing games on anything that is capable of doing so, like my PSP or those HTC phones with Windows Mobile or even a Texas Instruments calculator. Is it really necessary to keep making this point over and over again? I mean, I agree, but I think the point has been made now. It seems foolish to make more of these threads.

I didn't suggest anything of the sort. It's just ridiculous that every gay related thread gets degraded into a discussion of appropriateness while the myriad of Polish only threads (for example) are not seen as "divisive bullshit." So just think next time. That's all.

I think that in some of the Polish only threads there were people asking in a respectful manner to speak English instead of Polish. I have made some Poland-based threads but it's not like I put up a sign stating "You ain't Polish, git out!" in there or anything of that sort.

Oh and since we have an official PM system in place, I'll bet the Polish people will be using that more often to speak to each other in Polish.

You should see the #gog IRC channel when a bunch of Poles get in on the Polish language action :D. We do it to mess with the English speakers but in a good way.

And the thread this one is in response to was not exclusive either. What is the harm in people looking for verification and companionship by discussing our similarities? Sure we're all gamers but we're not carbon copies of each other. What is the harm in reading about fellow forum members' differences? I know you're not a bad guy and I don't want to argue about this with you. This is just not the sort of response I would expect from a classy community.

No harm in people looking for companionship in their similarities. It's just some of those threads devolve into flame wars and that's what I would like to avoid as much as possible. not trying to argue, either, just discuss.

Wow this thread kinda veered of course rather quickly. So i'm going to talk about this strange occurrence in the first fallout game I had the other day. So I was in The Hub in Old Town to be more specific and I just sold some guns to that black market gun shop guy and I was walking down the street and then combat mode kinda started out of no where and four guys came at me. I did take em out easily with my Combat Shotgun but that still doesn't explain why the attacked me in the first place. any ideas?

I realise reading this thread I must not be paying as much attention to the forums as I used to (bloody work cutting off my access to GOG in work hours, the bastards). So have I missed something? Thought this was always about games or gaming related stuff? Or am I being incredibly naive?
