OH, pubs! Ok, that makes much more sense.

Dave and Busters is like Chuck E Cheese for grown-ups. Need to check out both D&B and the 1up at some point.

Chicago has Geekbar. Not necessarily only gamers, but I'm sure the discussion comes up regularly.

Just north of Atlanta, there is Battle & Brew. They have a bar, high-top tables, LAN gaming, console gaming, and tabletop gaming. They will be moving into a new space in the next couple of months which will allow them to offer more services such as Warhammer 40K, a Kinect station, a viewing area for live-streaming events and TV premiere parties, etc.

Pubs, beer and gaming

Atleast in Finland most Go clubs and BloodBowl playgroups play in pubs and bars :D

AFnord: Here in Stockholm we have a dedicated "geek club". It's like any other club (i.e. dancing, alcohol and such), but with video game music, and several video game systems along the walls near the bar (so you can play some Golden Axe while catching your breath after an hour on the dance floor).
Stockholm E-sport community also arrange events where people will gather at certain bars, watch E-sport tournaments , drink beer and talk video games.
Consider me envious.

There's one in Columbus called the 16 bit Pub 'n' Grub. I haven't been yet, but my buddies all tell me I'd fucking love it.

but they are all kinda weird. I mean i personally pretty much never hear or read those words being used.

almost always its just about drinking.

and here i mean drinking it the sense of drinking alot of alcohol. not sipping wine, quaffing healing potions or whatever >.<
