Wow, wow, wow.
Empire Earth. And it's including the expansion which I never played. For $5.99. This is true love.
I also vaguely remember playing a demo of Lords of Magic that I actually really enjoyed - however I was like 15 and penniless at the time and using my hard-earned cash buying it wasn't an option.
I'm getting both once they release so be quick about it!

I think I'll probably spend most of the weekend playing Evil Genius... but damn am I ever looking forward to Lords of Magic. it's one of those games that I vaguely remember playing but of which I have only awesome memories. The whole faith/elemental thing was cool.

Wow - ton of great additions! I have my LoM CD sitting about 5 feet behind me but will probably get the SE here on GoG just 'cause. I got the Ground Control Anthology of Direct2Drive a long time ago (before GoG came into my life - which means before Beta) and it is a great series (don't know if I have the expansion for GC 1 though, I know I have GC 1 & 2 though) - the most annoying part about GC is the voice acting - especially in the tutorial.
Have heard varied things about Evil Genius.. might just have to pick it up to see if I like it or not.

LoM: SE has the Legends of Urak expansion as well as a ton, and I do mean a ton of bug fixes. Its like day and night, highly reccommend it.

hmm... Empire Earth looks pretty awesome, vaguely remember it from before.
Haven't heard of Lords of Magic, but also remember Evil Genius, but never tried it out. At this price point might be a good pickup.

That's quite an ace you drew from your sleeve there, GOG! Ground Control rocks, Evil Genius was quite fine (though it couldn't quite live up to venerable Dungeon Keeper, in my opinion - but then few things can). I'll buy them both right away, thank you, along with Jack Orlando while I'm at it. ;)
Also, I loved the first two Empire Earth's (Let's pretend they never made a third one, shall we?). I have never played Lords of Magic, but I'm interested, so I'll probably be picking up those as well, eventually.
This must be one of, if not the best single week in PC gaming so far this year!

This week also had the new monkey island and a revelation of the very soon release date for the new version of the old monkey island so yeah, i'd say you're right about the best week in gaming

And as a brit can i just say that we NEED the 2000AD games... Judge Dredd and Rogue Trooper.
RT was actually a pretty awesome game... Heard JD was more average.... but i loved Judge Dredd vs Judge Death in the comics when i was a kid, so i'd be willing to pay $5.99 to check it out.
PS/ If any rebellion guys are reading this, what happened to the 2000AD games? Didn't you guys pay for a long exclusive license or something? Why only 2 games so far?
Next Gen Dredd and Rogue Trooper games please, but there are loads of other cool IPs in there....
