Typhoon45: - I support non-intrusive DRM as a security format in games (seriously, guys, we've all pirated a couple of games, but I know people who will dl 40 games for shits and giggles. That ain't right)
Being against DRM has nothing to do with being okay with piracy.

Typhoon45: - I loved KotOR 2, and thought that it was a great addition to the series (except for the ending, I get why people hate that.
I'll top that. I loved KotOR 2, even the ending (albeit with the restored content mod) AND I think it is a better game than KotOR 1. At times it is horribly unbalanced, and with the right character build the second half of the game is a cakewalk, but it has a better story, more interesting characters, and I loved returning to the locations of the first game and seeing how they had changed.
I couldn't get into:

Fallout 1-3, Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights 1, Dragon Age, Deus Ex, Command & Conquer series, Batman Arkham Asylum, Warcraft 3. The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time, Super Metroid, Goldeneye, Final Fantasy 7 & 9.

I preferred the Prince of Persia standalone revival (the cel shaded one) to the Sands of Time Quadrilogy,

I own Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball 1 & 2 and have thoroughly enjoyed them.

I downloaded a pirate copy of Minecraft to try out and deleted it instead of buying it because it was way too addictive. (Game needs a demo.)

Finally, I like GFWL (Games For Windows Live) and wish it was in more pc games but as an optional component....

PhoenixWright: -I like Sonic Adventure 1/2 and the Sonic bits of Unleashed
I think Adventure 1/2 got a bad rep after Heroes came out, because they were kind of entertaining.

Also, it often takes me years to finish games because I can't stick to one at a time, ever.

Well, that's not really how I meant it. With the guys I know, if its DRM free, they pirate it, and if its really bad DRM, they pirate it. But if the DRM is too much trouble to work around, and doesn't come with really bad restrictions, then there is a 50% chance that they may buy the game :P

It's kind of like Godwin's Law, except with piracy!
I love Silent Storm, so I tried to play Jagged Alliance 2: Unfinished Business and utterly hated it. Apparently I'm not hardkore enough to play this game. This is my only experience with Jagged Alliance, and it will most likely remain so.

I have a nasty habit to go back to my childhood memories by listening old video game music from the games I used to play. I know, it's pretty "pathetic", right?

And, when I listen to them, I'm totally oblivious to the world around me, and can get quite emotional (you know, sweet memories from the time when there was no "adult worries")
I'm tired of traditional point-and-click adventure games. I used to love them, but nowadays, I just can't get interested anymore. They feel dated and anemic. Maybe I'm just playing the wrong ones.

I did very much enjoy Digital and Penumbra last year, which are definitely descended from the adventure game family. I guess they were different enough from the stereotypical Scumm-style games that they felt fresh to me.

I've played over a dozen. That's bad enough to count as a confession, right?
I like Ultima IX: Ascension

Heretic!

(I've never played it though. I expect I'll get around to it eventually, if only to see why everyone hates it so much)

Everytime I get a good grade the Sonic "Level Up" music plays in my head and I flex my biceps and turn my wrists to the drums at the end. Sometimes I just sing it out loud in class, so 400 other people get to watch.
