Three down, two more to go!

Kentucky Route Zero - Season Pass, an alluring adventure in a magical realist Kentucky, now with the third act of five, is available for $18.74 (25% off the full price!) until 15:59 AM GMT on 13 May 2014.

While most of us may know of Kentucky as the Bluegrass State, there is a secret network of highways and byways whose paths are known by a select few. Inspired by such point-and-click adventure classics as the Monkey Island or King's Quest, [url=http://www.gog.com/game/kentucky_route_zero_season_pass]Kentucky Route Zero plays like a Ray Bradbury novel with its slightly off-kilter reality, working class mythos, and sweltering summer nights. Oh, and office bears.

Kentucky Route Zero is a point-and-click adventure in five acts with a heavy focus on characterization, atmosphere, and storytelling. Featuring a variety of old hymns and bluegrass treasures coupled with a unique middle American atmosphere, Kentucky Route Zero is perfect for the discerning fan of the magical realism genre. The intermission is over and the third act has been added to the Season Pass. Act III arrives with its own soundtrack, available in both MP3 and FLAC formats for your listening pleasure.

So grab your ornery hound dog, warm up the truck, and get ready to take a longer drive through Kentucky Route Zero for only $18.74 (25% off the full price!) until 15:59 AM GMT on 13 May 2014.

Glad to see this chugging along! Especially as I am holding off playing it until it is complete.

No, magical realism is a proper genre, including modern writers like Márquez, Murakami, and Rushdie, and often including older writers like Borges and PK Dick. It's not what I call "filk fiction", which so many modern fantasists write.

Yes, I know the genre, I'm a fan of Haruki Murakami in particular but I don't know those others.

Surprised that Rushdie escaped your attention :) He got quite (in)famous for having a fatwa (I think that's the correct term) issued against him because he wrote "The Satanic Verses".

Yeah I do remember him now that you mention him. I had no idea he wrote fiction though.

I highly recommend Kobo Abe then. He is my favourite Japanese author and one of the greats of foundational magical realist writing. His most famous work is The Woman In The Dunes, but I most like The Ark Sakura and Kangaroo Notebook.

Also worth checking out are the works of Yoko Tawada.

I concur, Rushdie is a pretty popular name on account of that. He's also a frequent guest on the more literate talk shows.
Kind of a "meh" day for me.

Could we get a confirmation on whether or not an Enigmatic Hint was actually posted to instagram? Or with GDoc away does that mean we aren't getting any?
