Enter for a chance to receive a bundle of 66 indie games!

With today's addition of FEZ the number of indie games in GOG.com catalog amounts to 66. It's a nice sounding number (about 2/3rds of 100!), so we thought celebration is in order. What better way is there to celebrate games, than by giving away free games? (Here's a hint: there is no better way.) So, for the next 6 days everyone gets the chance to enter our sweepstakes--and the prizes are truly sweet. One lucky person will receive an enormous bundle of all the 66 indie games from our catalog. Eleven more people will be awarded 6 indie games of their choice each. Here's how you enter:

Do you see the entry form below? All you need to do is provide us with your valid email address. That's it, you're in! You get exactly one entry in the sweepstakes. Optionally, you can make your chances better by doing two things for us: you can tweet about our sweepstakes for an extra entry (there's a Twitter field already filled out for you--if you don't want to tweet, make sure it's blank before submitting your entry), and notify your Facebook friends (a pop-up will pop-up upon completing the form). You'll be awarded an extra entry for every friend that enters from your referral. All this social-sharing is purely optional, of course.

Note: the sweepstakes entry is now closed. Winners will be contacted soon.

hucklebarry: ~snip
Well, I'm partly joking and blowing things out of proportion. I don't take this as serious as you might think. But I still stand to my personal dislike of such tactics (however rational they are in the business world). It's optional but it significantly increases your chances at winning over other members who don't do it, so it's not really a bonus but an important advantage over others. And didn't GOG promise T-Shirts or buttons as prizes once, too? ;)

*joking again, I think at least they did not sell them*

TheEnigmaticT: Let me check. We're trying something new with a social media contest provider called WooBox; it should work with just the email.
Why would you guys try to do anything with one of those privacy-invading services at all? They only exist to gather e-mail addresses and farm contacts from your friends list so they can start spamming more people with pointless crap (or sell that info to spammers). Knowing that you guys aren't actually running the contest yourselves and are involving a third party that, at the very least, is going to get a hold of my e-mail address for spamming purposes means I don't want to have anything to do with this contest. Not cool, not cool at all. I thought GOG was better than this.
why don't people like helping Gog spread the word via social media?. I'm not a big twitter user... more on Fb.I love gog and want to spread the word among friends and the like.its a valid marketing exercise for Gog.why not?

Because Fb and twitter are the Devil...
I entered but was not sure if it worked first time since I had not left the Twitter field blank, so I entered the address again. Please check and if necessary remove the double entry, the one without Twitter is correct.

minus the both "spam"
How could GOG have a contest to try to get more customers. They should just give away games and not try to generate any buzz. How could you be a business?

Yep, that's why I didn't bother entering. As soon as I put in my email address I got some spammy thing from WooBox (whoever they are?) asking for access to my Twitter account so they can post for me etc. Er.....hell no.

agylardi: Well, just entering my email address won't hurt..

Will the winner get announced ? since last "free giveaway" from GOG I wondered who won the raffle (just like any body in the forum that wondered). Maybe GOG should make announcement as news, or is it because a private matter (you know, username/email information privacy) so GOG won't announce the winner ?

Or does GOG just announce it generally on twitter/facebook ? something like "we already have some people for the game sweeptakes! check your email for next 24 hours to check whether you win or not"

Anyway, let just see how this sweeptakes turn out. The one person who got 66 games will be really lucky.. or not if the person already own most of the indie games at GOG (or even already have 66 indie games from GOG)
Wondered about that? It was supposed to be quite a few people winning games from the last YouTube contest from what I remember. Entered, but never heard anything more about it? Odd.

The way the form is designed it's rather hard to verify if you actually signed up at all. I mean, I don't have accounts at Twitter or Facebook, but when I click on "Enter" all that happens is a Facebook login box pops-up. Absolutely no indication that I've actually entered though.
Well, like others here I hope my enter made it through. Good luck to me btw...er, I mean to everyone who's entered. An announcement on the front page for the winner by user name would be fantastic and should follow every contest.
Well, the contest is completely optional so you don't have to enter it if you don't want to give out your email address or create another one.

Not a big deal, guys.
Well, I can't send the tweet via that form. Authorized the app via the pop-up, but then nothing =/

I'm in a slightly different boat. Facebook is in my host file (on purpose) so the redirect goes nowhere. I don't know if I've entered at all. Filling out the form again yields the same results or lack of.

Try another browser. ;)
Free games? Count me in.

A quick question. If I were to win this, would this be a code that i could take what I do not already own, then pass on the rest?

Submitted my email but the page doesn't change to say I've been entered, so I can't tell if I'm actually in the contest or not (Don't use facebook or twitter)
