BIOFORGE! The bloody thing ended on a cliffhanger!

Ahh damn it, for the next few days I'm going to think of that game every time I pick up a fork
Dungeon Keeper series. why oh why did EA cancel the 3rd one that was in the making? :(
Freelancer, really the space sim or 4x space sim genre in general, but the freelancer sequel was being developed and chopped. The kicker is it was being developed for the xbox 360, so it was only recently cut.

Not to be the old fogey like many of us on GOG are, but it does feel like innovation is being sucked from modern gaming. Why did homeworld perfect an innovative three dimensional RTS, and a true 3d rts unknown since (even SOSE isn't actually three dimensional). Is the turn based game restricted to only be developed in a Civ game anymore? Must innovation only be found in remakes or revives? Perhaps that is what we need.

Might and Magic. The proper one, not Dark "tunnel run action game" Messiah.
Oh yeah, I almost forget: How about a new DESCENT?

GANGLAND!!!! Come on, a HD remake with proper multiplayer would be great.
Legacy Of Kain, i want that damn story finished!!
Monolith needs to make a proper No One Lives Forever 3 and a sequel to Shogo (which they may have hinted at in FEAR 2).

They're working on something and it ain't FEAR 3, which they passed off, so one hopes it is NOLF3 or SHOGO2.
I want to see Commander Keen, Jazz Jackrabbit and Wing Commander get sequels again. ID Software has been looking for a property that's apropriate for Nintendo's platform, perhaps Commander Keen would fit that bill nicely. Cliff Bleszinski says he plans on revisiting Jazz Jackrabbit when his current projects are completed so I got that to look forward to. Wing Commader seems like it would be perfect for online multiplayer, co-op multiplayer missions with two teams that have apposing goals, deathmatch, campaign co-op.
Shadowrun. No, not that horrid Counter-Strike wannabe Microsoft released but the SNES RPG. I would love to see that series come back but more in the style of Deus Ex or VTM: Bloodlines. The pen and paper RPG was well regarded but everything FASA went tits up a few years back.
Freelancer, Elite, tyrian, castle of the winds...
Be careful what you wish for!

That's definitely my opinion on the subject. There are tons of series that I would like to see revived/"sequeled" but I am far too afraid of the end result to even start thinking seriously about it.

If that's to have another of my favorite series turned into a pseudo strategy browser game, or into a FPS I rather pass.

Delixe: Shadowrun
Hell yeah! That said Smith & Tinker licensed the Shadowrun name from Microsoft about three years ago now. So maybe we'll see something on that soon.
