Ixamyakxim: I think I mentioned it before in this thread; I've been wanting to read this story for about 15 years now, but was scared off way back when by the notion he might never finish it. Knowing that the show has a "skeleton ending" sketched out took away my reservations about watching it. I still haven't read the books though, as I'm afraid I won't be able to contain myself and will fly through them - I'm having too much fun being surprised by the show to do that!
Books are much better, and you would probably fly through the first 3 pretty fast. Last two have dragged a little as he likes to chase rabbits, but I'll keep reading them :)

Punished_Snake: In Italy will be transmitted next week, but I know from the book what will happen.

Tonigh I will complete a Feast for Crowns, and next week I will lend on library the last book.

trentonlf: do you mean "A feast for crows"?

If have ability to read books in kindle format I could loan you the last one, just pm me your email if would like it. Believe you get two weeks to read it.

Thanks for the offer (I have not a Kindle or such devices, anyway), but I already ordered it (or them, since in Italy are three books, not one) from the library, they will arrive this Wednesday :)

Also I've read this:

http://www.amazon.it/Il-cavaliere-dei-Sette-Regni/dp/8804635126/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1402855696&sr=8-1-spell&keywords=il+cavalre+dei+sette+regni

but I found it very...crappy. It's boring, it contains three stories but all look like the same plot :S

Better, yes. You just have to try and remember the 32,498 knights, hedge knights, thieves, kings, princes, nomads, priests, and lords that are in the books. It's funny, I've heard some people criticize the show for having too many secondary characters. If they had only read the books they might see the show a bit differently.
And thus ends Season 4. That was a rather weak finale.

Best scenes were Arya and Hound and the Jon Snow arc.

I liked it... really flipped the geopolitics of the world, along with some interesting character on character interactions.

And I guess next season we are "Going East, young *ahem* man" bigtime...

Ton more I could type, but it would be spoiler-laden.

*edit* Also, FU FFG (no, really I do LOVE FFG) for giving me an inkling of a few things that would happen based on an agenda or two! I was still surprised and amazed by the scene when it DID occur though, so that's a good thing! (tried to be VERY vague when typing this up)

*edit number 2* I went to their site and for the life of me I couldn't find the card that I'm pretty sure exists, that I referenced in my first edit - odd!

Finally! Now I can watch the show in one go ^^ Going to be a nice, long weekend.
You watch it all in one 10 hour block? I love the show but man the emotional beating I take from it would turn 10 hours of abuse into one weeping me ;) I swear GRRM gains power from our tears.

Also, you're throwing me off with the new avatar!

Well, I'll break it over the weekend, so it's not really going to be one block. But I like having the option of watching it one ep after another!

I've read the books, so I am mentally prepared for the onslaught :p
