Here is the story in short: I won a copy of Trine on Steam in lackoo1111's contest. (Un)fortunately for me I am not using Steam nor going to use it in future, so I would like to exchange Trine to my wishlist on GOG.

As lackoo1111 told me, the current Steam price for Trine is $19.99, so I think it would be fair if someone would like to gift me one game: Heroes of Might and Magic 4 Complete (price $9.99) or Battle Isle Platinum (price $9.99) in exchange. If you think my wish is unfair post here and I'll change my wish to make it more acceptable. As I said, I am not Steam user so I do not know its promotions and Trine's pricing history.

Here are a few "rules" to clarify things:
1) If you would like to get Trine on Steam post your offer declaration here.
2) Wait for my accepting post.
3) Send me your offer by using GOGPM and add there your Steam username.
4) I'll pass your username to lackoo1111 and lackoo1111 will gift you Trine on Steam.

Trine is actually quite amazing old-school fun, if you're not MY GOD DRM! kind of person, it might be well worth the shot for free. And if you are, well, at least I bumped the topic and wrote some praise on the game so you're more likely to swap it with someone :D It really is an amazing piece. I promise.

I watched some videos of Trine on YT so I think it could be fun to play as it looks like old style platform game. But Steam, for now, it is a no-no thing for me for many reasons.

I'm a bit puzzled now.
lackoo1111 mentioned that the developers gifted the games in the thread, now didn't she?
And given that Trine's web appearance kind of mentions various ('non DRM' versions) such as Gamer's Gate, wouldn't it seem possible that the developers hand you such a version of the game?
Please don't get me wrong, I'm far from trying to talk your neat offer for a GoG exchange down, I just thought I'd make mention of the possibility for the odd chance that it would work out for you.

After end of contest I received GOGPM from lackoo1111, where lackoo1111 asked me about my username on Steam to be able to gift me Trine. So at that time I assumed that this won copy of Trine wouldn't work without Steam account.

Well, I have no clue on how kind and accommodating the Trine developers are, but I thought it might be worth mentioning. Maybe they haven't even considered the option/possibility and just went with the standard easy way of handing out a Steam code. If that's the case, a simple message to lackoo1111 (and from her to the one's of Trine that contacted her) could clear it all up ;)
I have the feeling, that this Game is not sponsored by the developer...

GamersGate is selling the Game DRM Free (no Steam needed). I think it is just a contribution out of the bundle sale from last December.

I hope for you that lackoo1111 can sort that out as Trine is a really great game :)

Sorry, I can't trade with you, as I do already own Trine twice now *gg*

You might very well be right there, as I just looked up the original thread and Trine isn't even mentioned there as reward ^^

Sick-o! You definitely have too many games! *gets jealous*
Hi guys, Joel from Frozenbyte here - not quite sure how to send PMs, so I'll just say here that we do accommodate for these kind of situations. Just get in touch ( http://frozenbyte.com/contact/ support@ ) and I'll sort it out. Thanks for the comments too. :)

Welcome Joel,

GOG does not have a direct PM System yet. We are using a 3rd Party gogPM System, ran by the community :)

JoelFB: not quite sure how to send PMs
Most unfortunately, GoG doesn't support this functionality directly, but I'm sure that the user in question is going to read your message here ;)

Marvellous support! Really, thumbs up, it's a pleasure to see developers taking that much effort and time for their customers.
Makes me want to support you by purchasing the product!

Edit:
Gosh, Ubivis was faster :( Evil turn based Civnatics!

We seem to be getting a few people from dev companies and other sites lately
I guess the coming of Shadowgrounds on GoG has something to do with their developer (FrozenByte) lurking the forums.
To be honest this one's got more to do with my daily Google stalking. :) But yeah of course we're happy that Shadowgrounds is now on GOG too, and seems like most people are enjoying it too, which is nice. And thanks for the PM clarification, no wonder I couldn't find it. :)
