Now I'm both laughing and crying! I have a list of games I never finished, that I have vowed to complete before buying new ones... and it suddenly struck me the other day that most of them are long RPGs with multiple side quests. At this rate completion is going to be a career choice!

The problem that kept me from finishing NwN2 was its party interface and camera. Took a lot of time before i got past the flaws. It is inferior to nwn1 in that regard, imo.

And yes, i got that problem too. Got way too many games i haven't played yet too. ;) I just take it one day at a time and play whatever i feel in the mood for. :)

Have fun with the games instead of seeing it as a task to get through. ^_^

I'd like to change my favourite game to World of Illusion, a sega genesis game which i have beaten with my dad in coop mode.

Hard Reset is turning out to be a really fun shooter, old school in that so far I couldn't care a monkeys what the actual plot is. The functional bit is "destroy these robots. Now destroy these other robots." And for me, with this game, that is perfect!

It also somehow feels like the Los Angeles from Blade Runner.

Playing on Normal to get my bearings, but will likely return to try on a harder level later.

For a game truly dear to my heart, I have to say Little Big Adventure 2. It's nearly the first game I ever played and still one of the most enjoyable. Even hearing the music is nostalgic enough to bring a tear to my eye.

Silent Hill 2 as well for being the first game to make me shed man tears.

Ghost Trick is next for making weep like a little girl. ;_;

Legend of Zelda 1 : NES - I just loved it! The music, the secrets everywhere, it was just so much fun!

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - was the first game that really felt immersive in the Zelda universe.

Paper Mario Sunshine - feels like a true virtual vacation

Zork trilogy was a first love in adventure gaming, all text, of course, but I was living in that world for months

Return to Zork was just so funny, and it brought Zork to graphical life. I even loved the silliest bits.

For me, it would be Neverwinter Nights. I discovered it without the expansions in the bargain bin and thought it looked somewhat interesting. At the time, the Shadows of Undrentide expansion was out, but it wasn't sold at this particular store and I wasn't aware of it.

Best investment I ever made. The game kept me entertained during some dark times, and the countless modules kept me playing and saved me money as I stopped checking out other games.

Return to Zork was awesome indeed.
Ocarina was one of those games that set itself apart. Great story and gameplay matched to an outstanding soundtrack. Great memories with that game.

For me this is definitely Final Fantasy 7.
I played it numerous times, still discover new things, even played two very cool modded versions of the game.
The story and soundtrack and characters still catch me. After all those years, Cloud and Barret and Tifa and Sephiroth and all the others almost feel like friends. This game is tied to many childhood memories.
