52 (including the freebies) on GOG
I have 228 games on GOG.
I think last time a game updated it said something like 421 or so; yup, that's only accounting for my GOG titles. I'm not sure whether I've bought any more since then, and I can't be arsed to manually count them at this point. =P

34 (counting 1 FREE game) in total on my GOG shelf.
Currently 173 on GOG.

If I count consoles, physical copies, emulated games, etc, the count would be a lot bigger...
Personally, I have currently 89 games on GOG-without counting the permanent freebies given on subscription (counting them, the number ascends to 101). And this since November 2013, when I started purchasing from GOG. Seems I'm not as picky as I thought regarding my gaming purchases ! :-)
I have had to count games played as anything I have begun playing as I do not actually finish every game I start.
Also a big note is I am a bit of a kleptomaniac

Place - Number played games / Total number of games - percent played

GOG 143 / 559 - 25.58%
GOG (games bundled with others / DLC) 12 / 27 - 44.44%
GamersGate 31 / 70 - 44.28%
Shiny Loot 5 / 48 - 10.41%
Humble Bundle 51 / 113 - 45.13%
Groupees 15 / 367 - 4.08%
Indy Game Stand 6 / 65 - 9.23%
Desura 9 / 258 - 3.47%
Steam 19 / 51 - 37.25%
Square Enix 5 / 7 - 71.42%
Other 48 / 90 - 53.33%

CD (not Steam key) 22 / 28 - 42.85%
PS2 8 / 8 - 100%
Gameboy / DS / 3DS 65 / 65 - 100%
GameCube 10 / 14 - 71.42%

Total games played 449 / 1770 - 25.36%

Digital Download site Square Enix has the lowest number of crossovers with 5 games, Groupees has the highest with 97.
I have more then one copy of 18 games I have played and between 150 - 300 games in total are crossovers between DD sites.

Boy did I just waste 2 hours of my day doing nothing.

IronArcturus: Speaking of a game count, why doesn't the game shelf list the count by default? For some reason I can only briefly see a game count if there is another game that had recently updated.
I don't think GOG has ever mentioned why although people have asked 1000 times in the forums. If you install the "Barefoot Essentials" plugin for GOG though, it turns on the game count for you, works great.
Only 19 discounting all the free games I have but 90% of my income is rent, bills, gas and cigarettes, 5% is soup so... what's a nerd to do?

139 games on GOG, from 500+ total (most of them steam from bundles)
dave@HAL9000:~/jeux$ ls */*.deb */*.exe */*.sh */*.zip */*.tar.* | wc -l
200
Hey, who called me "nerd"?!

Where is this plugin located? Does it only work with the downloader? Or is it for a specific browser?

Browser. Opera, Firefox, and Chrome (and derivatives/compatibles of those, such as Chromium, Iron, Pale Moon, etc.). Not Internet Explorer. There are no plugins for the downloader.

You'll find it here.

Thanks for the link. But I still wish GOG could make the counter show all the time by default.
Too many (in total) to play through in my 20s, I fear :D

Here on GOG, 159 "O.O"
