It has now. Thanks bunches!

I was able to trim many branches once I'd read enough of the forum to ignore this clue:
Swap the first 3 with the second 3

I'm off to spin the extra degree!

Yay! You deserve it.

You did consider thinking about dolphins though, right!?

Fujek: 'Free your mind through flowers',
it has been six days now that our commander said the magic sentence. These words really changed a lot for us over here and with each passing day we manage to forget time and struggle a little more. The flower beds that are in progress seem to grow well and I hope that can convince our new German friends to get us new seeds soon.

We would like two new kinds of roses and another two primrose seeds for the spot north of our barracks. That should provide us with plenty new colours and shapes to work with.

In just another two more days we hope to get the last marsh violet. As we are approaching the season for new sowing, it is about time, or we would have to wait until the next chance.

With only like eight prisoners there is little chance for the project. But we find real harmony and peace in this whole endeavour. Could you please make sure that all of our beloved families get to see the letter, so they all know the Germans treat us well and that they have shown respect and we feel in good hands.

In just about four weeks I am going to have two pages and roughly eight stamps. Then you could get news, but please do not worry if my next letter arrives late.

Yours very sincerely,
Fujek, 4th squadron of the 7th army.
I keep this open in my text editor with my code, and read it once a day, waiting for something to happen in my head.

This isn't a request for a hint, just letting you know that [what appears to be] your puzzle is alive and kicking, in a sense.

Could you post a solution of it for the more dim of us? :-P
I'd like to see where I went wrong and possibly how close I got.

Yours (http://www.gog.com/forum/general/a_quandry) isn't exactly brimmed with hints either :-D
What game is it anyway, if I may ask?

Here's a pastebin link as I don't expect it to fit here:
http://pastebin.com/gnkCbavm

The above is a cleaned-up version, and I didn't manage to get anything like a reasonable result until I read through the posts you and others made relating to the puzzle. Here, I could list all the steps I tripped over many times, but I probably wouldn't be telling you anything new!

Any ideas regarding Fujek's flowery brainbender?

Also, there's a puzzle of my own making on offer here:

edit:
It's Flatout, tarangwydion. I'm not much of a racer, and I bought it because I thought my kid might enjoy it. I found myself grinning from ear to ear as I played it over the next few evenings, and bought two spares.

- Regarding "Replace the C with the letter that is three positions in front of it alphabetically" I never did try going the other way in the alphabet. "In front of" means earlier in sequence to me. At one point I even tried using the potato to make some kind of weird sense of that interpretation.
- I didn't catch the "love you" callback for the third letter.

Well, I thought I made a breakthrough, but suddenly I realized a mistake in my logic and it fell apart. :-(
I feel somewhat on the right track, but I'm not sure.

Interesting, I'll take a gander.
