Austrobogulator: Hey guys, I wrote a story about Mutant Mudds (a great game on GOG), I just wish I had a graphic to go with the story!! Oh well, here it is anyway:

Dirt and mud is unfavorable, so blasting it all 8-ways is very exciting 4 me; barring times you have to clean anything mud-tateable. Geddit? FUZZY MILDEW NEEDS 2 BE DESTROYED! 3+ mould-coated walls is definitely, absolutely 3 2 many. I am really 108% serious!

uchristensen: Yes \o/, I cracked and claimed this one.
Congrats and thank you!
(now I can finally stop looking at all that numbers without a clue to what to do... thanks... ;p)

What was the trick? I found an image, but that was it.

BTW, this is the image. The dots in the left correspond to the letters.

Right, that's the one I found. Making the the dots correspond to letters was the part that stopped me. :)

I had originally thought that the italicized letters/digits were part of the code. It was only when I looked at the other images you posted from imgur that it dawned on me, that it was the filename of an image. Once I had the image, it went surprisingly easy. The square of small dots in the upper left corner is the code reader for the cryptic puzzle text. I had first removed the spacing and special characters, but I found that to be an error. Copying the text to Notepad++ and putting a newline for each 16 character, the code appears as the leftmost column. The black and white dots are the digits, so that verified my assumption.
This just gave me the evilest idea for a ninja giveaway puzzler! ~must puzzle it out now!~

uchristensen:
Thanks for clarifying and congratulations on figuring it out!

And thanks, also, to Austrobogulator for the giveaway game itself!

Austrobogulator: Zeno Clash via Steam. Mention if you get it.
Got it. Thanks!

Solution: Some of the borders aren't completely black (0,0,0), some are (1,1,1), 2.... 3.... 4.... 5.
Use the intersecting rows and columns to determine the cell you need and put them in the right order.

Well done :D I was expecting it would be a while before someone ended up getting it.

Clever. Now Stooner can rest.
I was seeing words (WHY, FEW,...) among the combinations and even a near-occurrence of Shodan. I can now stop that insanity.

Austrobogulator: About the "Swap the first 3 with the second 3"; I did make a bit of a boo-boo with that, but really, it doesn't matter in the slightest =|
Because it's all a ruse, right?

Thanks adambiser... :P

(but I still don't get it....)

The left-side border of the cell with 9GND5 is not pure black (RGB 0,0,0), it is RGB 1,1,1. The same thing with the top border of the cell with JFB2D, it is also RGB 1,1,1. Find the cell where that row and col intersect and you get K5S2E...

Repeat for RGB 2,2,2.... 3,3,3... etc
