Glad you guys are having fun with this :) It took me long enough to get right and I was worried that no one was bothering with it.
Speaking of which, if someone has solved through it, I could use the sanity check, make sure it works as intended.

Austrobogulator: Zeno Clash via Steam. Mention if you get it.
Just wanted to say I'm still trying to figure this out, in my spare time. It's not just a bunch of random pieces and me trying to find meaning where none exists, right? Right?

Austrobogulator: ...
Swap the first 3 with the second 3
...
Replace the C with the letter that is three positions in front of it alphabetically
- There's only one 3, or do you mean the original code, or first 3 characters with the next 3 character?
- C being the third letter, there's no letter three positions in front of it?

Most of it is completely random; the letters and numbers are by far the least important part of the image.

Re-read the clue, I think you're misinterpreting it.

you do *not* want to see the stack of paper i have with my first impressions of the each clue, then doing all possible outcomes / interpretations of the each clue as well, then applying the next clue to each possible outcome, triangle shaped does not cover it!
grins

its definitely supposed to be a png file, winhex confirms this. and it doesn't appear to be stenography in the traditional sense of its common use (gotta love that forensics module i did for making me over look something obvious!).
....although if you take the loose definition then obviously it is a code hidden in the image sorta.
About the "Swap the first 3 with the second 3"; I did make a bit of a boo-boo with that, but really, it doesn't matter in the slightest =|

Really? I didn't think there was so much branching, but then again I use a straight forward interpretation of the English language. Perhaps we should do a step-by-step.
At this point I can say that at least these should be certain: ????-W?V?-?RU7-6L??

uchristensen: <snip>
oh no i think its more me cos my head isnt screwed on right the last few days. ill have another go tonight and type up my variations, then PM it to you to see how i interpreted it. i just like to do these for fun. :)

in an earlier version i tried yesterday i got several of the same, doing it again tonight i seem to only concur with your U and 6.
garrrah!

Just something I neglected to mention, which I didn't realise could be problematic, is that the Zeno Clash Steam code is actually XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX, rather than the typical XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX

Well, that certainly puts a different spin on things. Though, now at least I know that my best guess could have been right, if three had been the number of the counting:)

Austrobogulator: Hey guys, I wrote a story about Mutant Mudds (a great game on GOG), I just wish I had a graphic to go with the story!! Oh well, here it is anyway:

Dirt and mud is unfavorable, so blasting it all 8-ways is very exciting 4 me; barring times you have to clean anything mud-tateable. Geddit? FUZZY MILDEW NEEDS 2 BE DESTROYED! 3+ mould-coated walls is definitely, absolutely 3 2 many. I am really 108% serious!
Yes \o/, I cracked and claimed this one.

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten about that one entirely. What was the trick?
