Just another Septerra Core (a little easier this time):

AJ?N-3BNC-32BD-ND0W
Change the ? to F...

Oh, and also:

Replace the 2nd N with the alphabet's third vowel
Replace the second B with a You
Tell the third character how much you love it; trust me, it will appreciate it...
Turn the W upside down
Stand up and spin 223 degrees
Add one to the first number in the code
Swap the D right next to the N to an L
Take the 12th (non-hyphen) character and move it three positions forward in the alphabet
Swap the first 3 with the second 3
Replace the 2nd N with a 6
Wait, are you still looking over there? Hm, keep spinning an extra 136 degrees.
How were you expecting to see the screen like that? =/
Swap the first letter of the code with the second letter of the code
Convert that 12th character to its number equivalent
Replace the first hyphen with a potato
Replace the C with the letter that is three positions in front of it alphabetically
Put the hyphen back, it turns out that we don't actually need a potato
Replace the I with a V
Swap the first number in the code with the second number in the code
Now, just for a moment, before we continue, consider thinking about dolphins :D
Swap the M and the 3
Replace the J with...a Q? a W? Uh, wait, never mind
Aha, right, that's what I was going to say; replace the J with an E
Swap the 3 and the B
Spoiler: the N is actually a Q
I bet you didn't see that one coming
Yeah I know, right!
Swap the 17th letter of the alphabet with the three
Copy the letter you just moved and paste it over the top of the 3
Reverse the fourth cluster
Wait, actually, I changed my mind, don't do that
Sorry
Swap the lowest number with the second lowest number
Convert the number that appears closest to the end of the code with a letter that looks similar to it
...It says it loves you too, but it also says it would prefer to live out its life as a P. Please don't judge :(
Zero = R
Replace the B with a W
Swap the 5th (n-h) character with the 16th (n-h) character
Rotate the last letter 90 degrees so that it looks like another letter
Oh, speaking of rotating, you can spin the extra degree now. You deserve it!

We do need a "Preview post" button, don't we?

Yes, yes we do. I was going to do the whole hidden text trick, but...uh...I guess it was not to be, oh well... :P

I think the problem is that most tags don't play well with new lines. Not going to try and solve it though.

I'm sure that's it, I'm an idiot for thinking that would actually work. Oh well, hidden text has pretty much lost its novelty anyway.

Hidden text is all about the practicality now, though GOG should introduce something better, considering it's readable from the page source too.

Oh and BTW, I solved the Septerra Core puzzle, but it's still up, if anyone has been waiting for 10 years to play it. I might change my mind in a few days though;) It's fairly easy, even if some of the clues are slightly ambiguous. But that goes with the turf, I guess. Just out of curiosity, is this the same key you posted before, with the image?

Ahhh! I spent a half hour on it and got it wrong! Haha, I must have missed a step.
avatar
Austrobogulator: snip
Tried to figure it out and: Invalid code.

I already have Septerra Core but thought I'd try to puzzle through it. Just so you can see how far I ended off the mark I ended up with:

EAPQ-Q2VD-43U1-6LOE <-------------Not a valid code.

I bet you are trying it anyway just in case I'm lying and it is a valid code. I always lie. That was just to throw off the AIs, I'm not lying.

Nope, different key!

That other key is long gone (Mutant Mudds is still at large though!)

HOKAY.
So. Tarun bequeathed to me a Magicka: Vietnam DLC code, after me having promised to leave it to someone else. Note to self: learn to shut up. Now, I've spent a good hour or two concocting an elaborately convoluted, if straightforward puzzle. In brief, I overdid it. No bot is stealing MY codez, dammit!

So here. Have at it. And thank the original benefactor.

Did someone claim in or something? The QR code didn't help. It said "discard instructions like these when they appear"
