gameon: Thanks for letting me know!

I already have the game, but i would recoomend it to anyone. An awesome game.

GameRager: Especially with the latest High Res mod packs. (Current version is 5.1, I think.)

Oh, and the high def music packs as well(There are several to choose from.)
I'm close to getting DNF but i need something to mshashankr to trade for it. He wanted dear esther on steam. If anyone wants the $2.99 uplink or one of those groupees bundles for it, that'd be helpful.

Did you play Duke3d with the new High res graphics yet, btw? Some new textures still aren't aligned right and some old textures need to be updated to high res(It's still a work in progress.), but(to me) it seems amazing so far.

Btw DNF is amazing(imo).....I wonder what it would have looked like if it hadn't been rushed out by Gearbox & the original devs had finished it.

(I heard they cut a bit of content to get it ready for release, for example.)

I was actually happy to play through with the old graphics, i liked the retro feel. But i have seen screenshots of the modded graphics version, and it looks great.

DNF i've always been curious about. Considering all the delays along the way, its amazing they even managed to release it. Even though it got bad reviews, i'd still like to play it. And i'm close to getting it. I just hope i can get something to trade for it.

I liked the old graphics too, but it's fun to try something "new"...know what I mean? ;)

Also is DNF on sale? Just curious.

Well i completed the game this year for the first time. I would install the graphical mods if i want to re-play in the future.

Mshankr got the game from green man gaming, but it was a steam key that was sold.

If you're into retro you have to play Duke 1/2 sometime......both are pretty awesome, imo.

I like retro, but not that retro. Mid 90's is as far back as i can stand for the most part.

Seriously? They're not THAT old....:p Plus the controls are super easy and the gameplay is fun to boot.

Well i have a growing backlog, and i find newer games easier. Alot of old games i've played are difficult.

Its not terminal bad, but its definitely getting over the top. Without treatment (playing through my backlog) it could be curtains.

Just do what we all do.....say you'll get to your backlog when you retire, when you reach[25/30/35/40] and/or finish[college/etc], etc.

Then watch in disjointed horror as those plans fall to pieces.

The funny thing is i have plenty of time (due to being unemployed) yet for every one or two games, i seem to end up with 3 or 4 new games. Alot of deals, giveaways, trades. Whichever way i do it, games are like magnetised to me or something.

Why couldn't it have been women!
