adambiser: Each group of 4 can contain either letters or numbers in any position. A group does not have to contain a number. Generally there are 2-5 numbers out of 16, but that's not a rule. I, O, 1 and 0 are either not popular or not used. I found two old codes that had the letter O, but that's it.

You must apply some (common) knowledge on gift codes to decipher this, or you'd really have too many possibilities. With that little side condition, you still have a few, but far less and you can rule out some more by looking at the distribution of the numbers, if you take a logic attempt at it (like nagytow does ;))

I have the strange feeling that you've got plenty of time on that one and only very little competition. I doubt that you've missed any possible clues though.

That is probably because it doesn't work... & yes I figured out your little message & tried both possible solutions. Neither Worked

Hell... I even tried reversing them both & neither worked
