I knew about this a little while ago. I am disappointed in myself for never noticing the similarities and creating a psych-out title such as this one

It's dragged on way too long -- with far too long a wait between tiny little snippets. Valve should probably just give it up and concentrate on Left 4 Dead Eleventybillion.

Precipice was okay, but I think it ran into the problem of any cross-genre game.
It had the RPG-esque style combat of clicking menus, but it added incessant quicktime events. So it was too fast paced for the leisurely tactical gameplay, but too slow-paced for true action.
And there was way too much backtracking.
