orcishgamer: I can see the Silent Hill games drawing a lot of folks to GOG, though I'm not sure some of them are all that hard to get a hold of normally.
I'd also want to see what kind of extras they could scrounge up to go with them. The soundtracks maybe? Some nice concept artwork for the monsters or the town?

I mean there's a ton of stuff they could bring with the Silent Hill franchise... and Bomberman would be pretty awesome too if Konami ever comes on board.

I think there's already a lot of stuff out there for Silent Hill, didn't they do a lot of interviews and stuff for those?

I believe so, but it'd be nice to have them all in one convenient place instead of needing to search through a few different forums/sites. And the soundtracks would be a huge plus since they aren't readily available unless you want to import the cds.

Oh I'm not disagreeing, just saying I think there's a ton of Silent Hill content (more than was average at the time) around, I bet GOG would run out of space collecting it all:)

spinefarm: Actually Konami have a big PC catalogue for a company that concentrates on consoles. There a good amount of games that will be good edition to GoG catalogue:
Contra
Top Gunner
Metal Gear
Castlevania
J. R. R. Tolkien's Riders of Rohan
Batman Returns
Metal Gear Solid: Integral
Frogger: The Great Quest
Silent Hill 2: Director's Cut
Apocalyptica
Bomberman Collection
Frogger Beyond
Frogger's Adventures: The Rescue
Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance
Silent Hill 3
Silent Hill 4: The Room
Silent Hill: Homecoming

This games will be great to have DRM free.
Don't forget Shadow of Memories on the PC which was really cool (Or Shadow of Destiny if you are in the US)
Actually MGS was published on the PC by Microsoft (at least it was in a Microsoft bundle I bought). They would be a great addition, but I don't think MS is thinking in this direction. This is all small potatoes for them.

Yep you are right...
Publisher(s) Konami (PlayStation)
Microsoft Game Studios (Microsoft Windows)
Let's hope Microsoft finally do a good thing :)
they should also try to bring system shock 1 & 2 to their site and some point.
Metal gear s getting released in HD with everything up to 4 on the console... no reason to do a pc release at all...

The first one isn't part of that package. Neither is the fourth, but that hasn't seen a PC release, anyhow.
