Yeah, judging by Japanese TV overall one would think they're all completely nuts over there, which just isn't the case. Having lived over there for a few years I've only met a few youngsters doing weird shit, but on a whole they're just your average people really.

I don't know why the whole 'use a foreign celebrity' is a big thing in their commercials though, as Japan can still be a bit xenophobic.

Well not all of them are Xenophobic. But the fascination with US entertainment industry still exist.

Also they are pretty closed to strangers. Unlike US folks who love expressing themselves they prefer to do it behind the screen.

During Oktoberfest time, not more than 2 Mass (= 2 litres) a day. One in the morning, and one in the evening.


... no, seriously, I rarely drink beer at all. But I like these commercials.
