I needed it to convert some songs into .wav format for my recently purchased Crazy Taxi from the steam sale. Crazy Taxi simply isn't Crazy Taxi without The Offspring.

After attempting to convert the files it told me it wasn't compatible with Windows Media files.... so does anybody else have any recommendations?

There's a WMA plugin available (also free).

Didn't tried it yet, but I use their music manager:

Decades ago I used Razorlame, but I beliebe it's more to convert from and in mp3s. You need the lame decoder, so installing this can be a little bit tricky.

Ah, OK. Just know that converting from any format to .wav won't give you better quality, it will just take up more space.
