Titanium: That's why backing up everything you regard as critical is a smart thing to do. I use the simple yet effective "copy everything to an external drive once a month".
That's hella difficult and time consuming though to copy a few things here and there. I'd rather just image the windows files or even the entire drive if I ever did it. That way I can reload the OS if it gets damaged and go from there. Hmm. I wonder if that'd be a good option over copying everything?(Windows folder and subfolder backup I mean) Most of the time when the system does get damaged in various ways I only get to where the OS won't fully load or work properly and besides saves I don't hold a permanent attachment to anything on my system.
Fantasysci5: Thanks everyone for the welcomes! :)
I'll be picking the winner tonight.
And Gilou-My friend suggested I install a different Operating System on my computer, cvalled Umbuntu, and then the new OS could read it, so I transferred all of the files onto my friend's harddrive, then reformatted mine and put it all back on my own.
Install Ubuntu and you won't be able to play your games anymore without extensive work.I'll be picking the winner tonight.
