Petrell: It's 'free to play', not freeware. Same with flashpoint. Gametap is more of a digital game rental service than digital game store.

taczillabr: You're right, free to play. That's why I said they promoted the service, which isn't really a distribution of freeware games, but distribution of commercial games under a "free" label.
PS: I feel pity for steam users who still buy BattleForge for $29.99. A big LOL for them.

Nah, when you buy Battleforge now the $29.99 gives you around $29.99 worth of points to buy in game stuff. If anyone can back that up, because that's what I think is going on.

It's a free MMO from the creators of Rage of Mages and Rage of Mages II (which were originally called Allods). I haven't tested this yet, as I'm not into MMOs.
