The neverhood. I've still got that in a box somewhere. Interesting that the game still works, it was written for W95 I believe. Might have to dig for it. I never finished it.

You can always sell it for $100 if you don't like it :P
Aww crap I had a copy of The Neverhood a while back, shame that it's probably lost since 2 moves have happened since then. Ah well, never knew it was rare.
Great find! I like checking charity stores also--I recently bought Gabriel Knight 1&2 boxed set for $6. I just bought the collection here as well because I don't feel like going through the hassle of converting them to work on my system. When shopping thrift--does anyone find it hard to leave empty handed? I do, so I often get a disk even if it's low on my list. The last time I walked into a thrift store I walked out with a Mac System 8 disk, just because it might come in handy some day.

rewsan: Health and Safety, charity shops are unable to sell second hand electrical items just in case they kill someone.
edit: quoting cock up.

Here in the US, thrift shops sell practically everything, including electronics. The Salvation Army does have a sign on what they won't take, but I've never read it. It must mention large appliances though. I never see those at thrifts.
Most of my great finds involve old cd-rom pc games that were placed in the music cd section.
