Darn! I thought maybe it was Knock-Knock from the newest clue (on my wishlist!) but alas, no dice. Still trying to puzzle this out. I know for certain I'm going to be saying, "D'oh! Of course!"

Good solve. I did a good bit of brushing and color tweaking on the images. Actually, I needed to change the color on the background so Google wouldn't recognize it (lol).

Interesting to note, when I posted the puzzle (2.5 weeks ago) all those games were rated 4 stars on GOG. Since then, Outlast gained half a star! Not really important, figured it might happen. Also, Warrior Within is stupidly close to 4.5 stars now.

Ahh, google matched it even with the other images overlaid? Nice. I remember niniendowarrior created a puzzle a while ago with some paintings for flavor. At the time, I thought they might be relevant, and I was surprised to find that tineye could match them even though they'd been covered in text. As it happens, they weren't relevant.

I wondered where the four would come in! I'd imagined you'd selected games which were the 4th in a series, or games that contained the letters "iv" in sequence, game titles with four words... It's good to hear there was such a secret, even if I missed it!

I saw a +1 solved in the stats.
(if so, what was the answer? I tried any type of four reference lol)

Think the other puzzle from Grimwerk was solved.
But could be wrong.

Two challenges are open; The " It's too hard" puzzle and the new one "Animal Spirit". Tascodlx's puzzle was solved by grimwerk with JogsterXL's help. But the "four" puzzle you're referencing has been solved by a few people but NOT claimed - therefore it is still open.
