wpegg: Even the off color threads are risky, why not take a break? respond more than you're pushing out info. It's rewarding to help people, try to solve people's problems on the various threads.

GameRager: I will reply alot more, in fact that's what I usually do. It seems my thread starting is more visible to most tho, for obv. reasons.

Also off color jokes aren't pushing the rules IMO.....and no one can get me to see otherwise. I have stated I didn't do such to prove anything or push the rules and as such that explanation should suffice for most that i'm telling the truth on that.

Delixe: Why can't you just make one thread for the purpose of fun. I thought that was the point of the donut thing? Have one thread and go nuts in it, no one will low rep you. Making threads constantly about spam topics just annoys people.

GameRager: The donut hole thread is for offtopic. The other threads were meant to stay on topic and just be for laughs and entertain the board a bit. And spam? Maybe the last two....but the first two? Humor as the purpose of a thread doesn't make the thread spam by default and again if my posts are spam then so are all the request ones and the like.

No-one wants those opinions. Your posts are intrusive and aggressive in the manner in which they are submitted. The community would like you to be a part of it. We would like your input into games, the industry, and occasionally (stress) aspects of society, but a community requires give and take. If people are asking you in such force to calm it down then your really need to do so. Posting here is more than just "a right", it's part of "a group", if you consider this nothing more than a forum for your views to be heard then move on, I'd recommend the BBC's "Have your say" site.

I'd like to see you continue here, but not in your present form.

And for the record, I could care less about the content of your joke threads, if you had limited them to a single one. When you start spamming it up with what is essentially the same joke, that gets annoying.

And I don't know how things are in America, but here it is pretty common for teenagers to have their own debit cards. I got my first one when I was twelve or something.

Personally I again could care less about whether you apologize or not. Apologizing once is enough if you learn from it. Of the newbies that you compare yourself to, who makes a thread about "GET SYSTEM SHOCK NAO!", how many of them do you see make another one after they are pointed towards the wishlist?

But that's exactly it. I don't think it is the spam in itself that people find so annoying - it is that you keep spamming, you refuse to learn from your last attempt.
When people, at large, didn't appreciate your jokes the last time, or the time before that, what makes you think they will this time?

Again, I wouldn't do it if people didn't bait me in my starter threads. I agree I shouldn't have made the last two threads but the first two weren't so bad and I tried to keep them civil. Then people baited me and I overreacted.

I agree i'm at fault here, but are you saying the ones who baited me AREN'T at fault? ????

To gog such words make one look like an arse(sheltered community syndrome). On others with strict rules and similar threads there's not nearly this much anger or baiting of such threads. Look im getting a bit peeved at this and it looks like it gonna go on for a while but let me ask you folks this

Do we want newcomers to see an odd play on words or dirty joke (i say odd due to GR saying he will lower the amount) or do we want newcomers to see this crap with a forum taking chunks out of itself and feeling the need to air its dirty laundry for the whole flippin web to see?

Im tempted to start a "what a racket" with an image of a tennis racket just to add fuel to the fire but i decided against it (mainly cause id have to get out of bed and turn the pc on)

Every action has a reaction thats life, but if we think through our actions then understanding reactions is simple /fortune cookie speech

No, for not reacting to both parties involved, and not just going against the most visible party involved.

It's not "sheltered community syndrome." It's you are trying to get people to realize you aren't that bad then you say these things that are no more than slightly veiled attacks on the opposite side -- you aren't making a very convincing case to keep you around. You aren't giving the people on your side any reason to feel they made a good, sensible decision, you're just making anyone who sticks up for you and tells the community to be the good guys here look terminally blind to your actions.

You're basically shooting yourself in the foot, over and over again, sabotaging your own agenda. It's not pretty, and I don't like seeing bans occur (among my first twenty posts here is a defense of Roberttitus when he felt he was under attack, which got him to calm down and let the subject go) but you aren't helping me feel like not banning you is the way to go. Your irrational lashing at anyone within spitting distance makes you look bad and anyone who argues for your inclusion as a part of the community look bad by extention.

Do you understand now?
