GOG Mafia Game 14: The Curse of the Seth Beast

Alsalam alaykoum and welcome to the sign up thread for the14th game of Mafia here on GOG! Please drop off a prayer and/or offering to me, All-Seeing Anubis, in this thread if you wish to participate in this game! I need 14 willing sacrif-- erm... 14 mortals for this to work.

The 14th game of what...?
Seen these threads around but never dared ask? Forum Mafia is a game of accusations, deductions, logic, and (if you're mafia) lying through your teeth. In a nutshell, the town team try to eliminate the mafia by voting to lynch a player during the day, while the mafia team attempt to eliminate the townies one by one during the night. This game will be rather more complex than this, but the basic principle remains the same.

- Please note this game requires a high level of commitment and regular posting! It ruins it for everyone if you don't participate fully. We've learned through experience that when people slack off the game quickly becomes stagnant and dies (which is bad - my priests don't have enough embalming oil to take care of that many bodies...)

- There will be deadlines for each day phase of # living players + 7 days. Therefore day 1 = 21 days. Even the gods get impatient; that said, extensions will be granted if I receive enough prayers to that effect.

I did once have a mod try to tell me that "Day 2 lynch" is NOT a genuine game role.

Maybe not the best but not the worst either. More importantly, you are usually very enthusiastic and are fun to play with, which matters much more, IMO. Sure, we don't reject anyone, unless he tries to destroy games.
