Hasted lynch, again Rob is the hammer. Hope this time it's scum.

Dinner was a rather muted affair. You all fear the grim desert that seems to becoming part of the ritual of hotel life.
With varying levels of trepidation, you head to the bar. Some wag has tied a bed sheet into a noose, hanging from the rafters.

The bartender ushers you all in & hands round a tray of drinks.
“I think this might be helpful, but it’s all you’re getting”.

At first, everyone starts accusing Muttly.
“You were really hounding that Baron fellow. You may not have killed him yourself, but you may as well have....”
Muttly is forced to defend himself, pulling out an ID badge.
I am Head of Security for Everyoung. Mr Barnes was one of my dearest friends.
I view it as a personal disgrace that all this has happened on my watch & come hell or high water,I WILL find out who murdered him.”
“Well, do you have any leads?”
“Just one thing solid….” Muttly points at Vitek; “I believe you didn’t do it. You just don’t have it in you. No offence…”
“None taken” is the reply. “I think that’s a good thing!”

Compared to the previous 2 evenings, the accusations & protestations are much less rabid.
The baying mob mentality has given way to what feels almost like some perverted form of board meeting, with everyone desperate to protect their department from the inevitable budget cuts….

Finally, the pressure starts to build on Pazzer.
“It wasn’t me, I’m just the cleaner!”
“You mean you ‘clean up’ those who get too close to your trail…”
Joesapphire pins him with a hard stare.
“I KNOW you are lying.”
But there is no explanation of HOW he knows…
Pazzer seems resigned to his fate & his defense goes quiet.
Robbeasy steps up.
“Well, are we going to do this, or not?”

Pazzer almost seems relieved to be escaping the ongoing nightmare.
It turns out that that bed sheet is not merely a gruesome joke, but has a use after all….

Pazzer has been lynched.
He was Giorgio Bassanni, Hotel Cleaner (Mafia Encryptor).
Night has now fallen.
No more posting please until Dawn.

It's breakfast and once again, you all find yourselves counting heads.
With a sense of weary resignation, you come up 1 short again.
It's Muttly that's missing.
Not being in any great hurry to step into another macabre scene, you start to take your time over the coffee.
Just as it becomes apparent that you really can't drag this out any more, he walks in, muttering something about a bad night....

It is now day 4.
Deadline is 8pm 20 Feb.

Question for vets: What exactly is an encryptor? Or is this another unknown role like bureaucrat?

Question for Muttly: any info on this "bad night" you can share?

Hya! I am back on my PC. Right on time it seems.
I am looking forward to muttly's results.
And I think we should get results from Joe too if he is what I think he is.
And mafia had Encryptor, thus daytalk. Wonder if it is possible that pazzer said soemone to bus him. It doesn't sound too plausible, though, as in such position it would be dumb to bus him.

You know I'm a power role so I guess there's no harm in publicising: Seems I got blocked last night. understandable really. sorry guys.

Who wants to hear my claim? Maybe it wouldn't be a good idea to claim fully even now... It would be fun for me though.
or what do we think of mass claim? It should be pretty fun but, again might be a terrible idea. Let me know.

Alright who have we got today? -

Joe - town fella.

Muttly - he survived the night why did he survive how did he manage that? still probably town.

Vitek - he single handedly led the wagon against pazzer and he has been confirmed by the cop. Although he also jumped off the wagon the moment pazzer claimed. Is it possible that he never expected the wagon to build up? Is it possible that the encriptor is exactly the role it sounds whereby pazzer managed to scramble muttly's result? (pazzer was the one who picked up on muttly's softclaiming remember? was that day 3?) I'm not willing to give him the benefit of the doubt today.
(oops I assumed encryptor was made up. cheers sharim. So godfather? still possible.)

Robbeasy - after everything I've had an epiphone and decided that yes he's probably town. Town who made a mistake, I don't think I was wrong to pursue him but actually I've come t understand. sorry for the sudden change of heart. Town.

Mt. Sharim - I don't know but I'll say town over the other one.

Penutbrittle - I'm becoming less certain of him. If there was a mafia on the pazzer lynch I'ld expect them to be in his place.

Twilightbard - claim could be true. makes sense if vitek is John Smith and mafia. also makes some sense if twilightbard is john smith and mafia.

Stuart - I keep putting him as mafia by process of elimination.

So my top mafia team is: Vitek Stuart and Pazzer (who is dead).
If not Vitek then Penut Stuart and Pazzer.

Although sort of one of Twilightbard and Vitek has to be mafia surely?? Otherwise again: Why?
