Mmmmmm. Guess it is my turn to be defensive. Seems that trying to find answers and pushing at what appears, to me and to others, to be an over-reaction may appear to be too suspicious so I'm going to let this drop and switch to lurk mode for a few hours at least.

I'm not sure what kind of conclusion you expect me to make from 5 or 6 posts? He voted for me in RVS, made a comment about not lynching players based on experience (the actual wording was "strong/weak") and later unvoted me.


There was also a comment about Vitek's "confession" during RVS and a suggestion to the mod to put a vote count in the OP.

@Crazybear - I don't think you should shut up because posting is the only weapon town has, and it should be used.

@JoeSapphire - Why should I be lynched? Kind of a trick question isn't it? Fortunately, you have also provided an answer - I could be mafia.

I haven't given in to pressure, I just hadn't realised that CrazyBear is, like me, a new player. When this was pointed out I came to the conclusion that I was most likely looking for deeper meaning in an comment of probably questionable relevance that could well be down to inexperience. That is why I have let this go.

Presumably it has to do with nmillar's most recent response.

Which seemed a reasonable response to the question asked. But regardless of thoughts on that, I would like to see the reasoning in the vote, assuming there is any.

Well, obviously Zchnique. Apart from him, I'm not completely certain. Crazybear set off my alarm bells for his immediately defensive...erm...defense :P. And I guess Stuart also, for pushing Crazybear so hard, although I suppose that's what everyone is doing.

At this point I'm not certain. I sort of like staying back and watching how things develop at the early stage (as I did in Game 9).

It's mostly just leftover. I don't tend to unvote much, only when I finsd another person to vote. I don't like my vote to leave unused.

Sorry - been neglecting game #10 a little, due to stupidly big and rambling posts in game #9.

I'm struggling to really get any reads so far - i will be having a good read through over the xmas period though, hopefully come up with something then.

So, if anyone is interested heres what I currently think on everyone...

01- Nmillar - Would be comfortable lynching on lurking.
02- JoeSapphire - Essentially the same for lurking.
03- Jefequeso - Seems like he lurks for the most part as well, but would not be comfortable lynching yet as he at least posts on occasion.
04- Muttly13 - Why, thats me!
05- Robbeasy - fine lynching for lurking.
06- Orryyrro - same here.
07- Itai.sharim - and here.
08- Crazybear - felt he leaned town simply based on his reaction.
09- Vitek - Odd nmillar vote, I am sure both he and Zchinque would claim it was for prodding.
10- Red Baron - no read here as yet.
11- Peanut Brittle - no read here either.
12- Zchinque - Again, I think the nmillar thing is odd. Same as Vitek I am sure he would claim prodding as his reason for voting.
13- Stuart9001 - Felt he was leaning town as well. The grab for anything to move the game alone felt very familiar, like me in game 8!

All that said, I am never really comfortable lynching for lurking alone. But, since this is day one and somebody needs to go for something, I guess its as good as any other reason.

Here are my thoughts on what happened so far.

First, the Crazybear/Stuart incident. I think it sparked from nothing as I felt Crazybear's comment was humoristic and it seemed Stuart was pushing him for no reason. However, in a hindsight, Stuart did manage to put pressure on Crazybear and get some reactions from him. So far, Stuart does seem to have his finger light on the trigger but all in all, I agree with muttly that Stuart is trying to get the game going and Crazybear's reactions did paint him as town.

Now to the Zchinque/nmillar exchange. I have a few theories on that one, the first being Zchinque just wanted to make nmillar post something because he really hasn't posted much. Second, Zchinque has some solid info on some of the players and is trying to play his cards. Third, some mafia ploy between Zchinque and nmillar - but I think this is unlikely this early in the game. I'll let it roll a bit to see where Zchinque takes us because I do think he is town.

About the votes of Vitek and Jefequeso that originated from it - I don't understand any of them. I would like to receive some explanation about those.

@Red_Baron - Try not to quote votes (or remove the bold) because I actually thought you voted for Crazybear and then changed to Stuart which seemed weird. Thanks!

See, I get Jefequeso vote. He presumably sees Z acting on what appear to be nothing more than whims after declaring that the RVS phase was over and ignoring questions posed to him. Without backing for any of his actions, I can see voting for Z as well. Just hoping he responds with something before I do so.
