Tallima: ...they try their hardest to side with the buyer to keep them viable and keep buyers safe. So I use it as a buyer to keep safe.
This is a very good point. I've used Paypal quite regularly for about 10 years, and from my memories (on the buyer's side) of their 'dispute' system, I know I'd be wary of going through them if I was e.g. selling something on Ebay. As a buyer, however, Paypal is probably about as safe as it "gets", as long as a strong, unique password is used.

tinyE: where I'm pretty sure you have to pass an idiocy test to get hired. :P

JMich: What happens if you fail the idiocy test? Does that mean you are more clever than an idiot, or less clever than one?
I don't know....I'm an idiot. :D

tinyE: I didn't even know it was legal to purchase foreigners.
I do it all the time, my favorites come from Thailand.
I have had all kinds of problems with paypal. I won't use it anymore.

Graaargh: Is paypal as secure? I heard that it isn't that great.
Or buy a paysafecard in some local store, no added fees and the biggest security risk is misplacing the number before its used up.

Graaargh: Well I'm with a bank called Natwest, they're not the best of places but still. The price + £1 kind of made me overdrawn which is a pain in the balls. They should make it more explicit I thinks.
Just to make sure you're aware, it's your bank that decided to tack that on and needs to be more explicit.

Yeah I know. I posted it on the GOG forum simply because I wanted to know if anyone had ran into this situation before, it being unique, for me, to this site. But then this is the only site I use that uses a different currency.
