And you're not going to believe this. 23.8 gigs minimum, for what is basically a tech demo with 20 different kinds of middleware set in a Star Wars universe.
Speaking of Lucasarts games, whatever happened to that Indiana Jones game that was going to use Euphoria and all that?

Right. Thanks, but no thanks.
What the FUCK? I have a few hard drives about smaller than that install size!! The rest pf the specs are relatively modest though
The virtual drive thing means what, basic securom or more? At least they have the decency to TELL you about it, more than many do
Glad I got it for the 360 then

So THAT's why I haven't been able to find it anywhere, it's not even released yet. Heh, I thought it had been.
Since I'm a computer junkie I can't make heads or tails out of the xbox controls for anything but driving games, hopefully it'll control better with keyboard and mouse.

Last I heard it was cancelled. It was originally supposed to tie in with the fourth movie.
Doesn't FU have an estimated play length of like 6 hours?
6-8 yeah, much like a lot of AAA games that trade length for spectacle .
Its a fairly fun 6-8 hours though and there's enough character modification to give it replayability

Aw, that sucks. I was really looking forward to that. I hear the PS2 and the Wii gets a watered down version of the game, which is ridiculous.
Let's get this straight:
- the game sucks
- it takes up 1/12 of a 320gb hard disk
- and it contains fantabulous copy protection, just what everyone needs
And they expect us to pay $60 for this?

Heh speaking of abbreviations, I always thought Star Wars: TFU could also stand for Star Wars: The Fuck Up

I love how the system requirements state, "This product does not support Windows 95/98/ME/2000/NT."
I'm sure up at LArts/Aspyr, they're thinking some guy with a 300 MHz Pentium MMX will go, "Are ye telling me ah can't run this game on mah Windows 95 computer doohickey?"

Considering the amount of questions I've gotten at NTCompatible and VOGONS....there are alot of people like that.
I know a guy who's still using win2K for at least one computer, XP just doesn't like the machine for some reason. Presumably there's some upgradeaphobes who still aren't sure about this new fangled windows XP
Video Card (Nvidia): Geforce 8800
Pretty steep minimum in my opinion.

That's kind of standard nowadays. The first time I noticed that was when I bought the first G.R.A.W. a few years ago. It never affected anything though.
But I can't believe it uses up so much HDD space. I have the game on the 360 and it isn't all that good to waste that much space.
Given how Force Unleashed was widely panned then forgotten, I've got no idea why they'd want to pour more money into it and re-release it anyway.
The fact that it is clearly a piss poor port (graphics like that shouldn't need 512MB graphics card as a minimum). and contains DRM they know will fuck up for the game for some people just makes this a bad joke.
