I usually go by the ears. Saves me from pulling down people's pants only to discover about half of them don't even have a dick to compare with.

JohnnyDollar: Although I try to ignore it, what catches my eye sometimes is that colored text at the top right corner of the post, like your post is currently showing. Maybe you can hide that as well? Or if that's not doable, perhaps you can change the color of the text, like a color that matches the carbon forum theme to make it invisible. :P
I'm almost sure it's possible, will try to do it when I'll have some time

Philosophically speaking I would be against this idea but since so many people don't like it the entire system falls apart so my opinion becomes moot as long as the majority of users here don't appreciate the meaning of the system and it's not too important anyway.

Question, can someone make a userscript that ignore posts based upon specific words? Please, pretty please!

That is all well and good but the only reason I have a problem with rep is because I am now unable to post any links. So for me this would just be the digital equivalent of sticking my head in the ground like an ostrich pretending that if I can't see it then no one else can either. I do still appreciate you putting effort to create this script to help out though so +1. :)

As a suggestion, you could always act out URLs via the beautiful medium of interpretive dance:
