Like everything else here, the prices that pet shops try to charge you are beyond belief -- hell, I've seen top quality pedigree show cats sold for less than the mongrels they're trying to peddle here.

people give away cats for free over here. my neighbours must have had over a hundred cats because they never get them desexed.

Forgive me for throwing out a hook and being a bit aggressive with you. I'm new to this forum and I've found that the best way to get to know the regulars is to wait a bit and go a little more personal sometimes. You don't ask you wont get a answer.

Not entirely true. For a short while I was confused when Rohan changed his avatar, but at some point he said something that only a male would have said. But I'm all for you going around the forum and asking out anyone with a feminine avatar, it makes for great entertainment XD
So technically you just hit on Rohan's girlfriend. Is that ok with you, Rohan? Are you going to let that pass just like that?
I wonder, if I upload an avatar of my girlfriend, will people start asking about my gender as well? Or is the name too much of a give-away? :p
On topic: I'm a cat person, but I have to say dogs are cool too, in a way. If I would take a dog as a pet, it'd be a Labrador, probably. They're so cuddly and sweet.
But I prefer cats. I wonder why most people strongly prefer one over the other..

To be clear I asked Rohan15 about it because somehow our discussion landed there.
Oh and I'm not going by the avatar people have. Ok that's what catch my eye first but I've found that how people write and their beliefs to a lesser extent tell me their gender. Take that how you want Rohan15. ;)
I'm now so totally out of topic that I hope I'm writing something so interesting that he GOG forum gods won't mind. :P

Yep shes a really good choice. They don't shed too so they are pretty easy on the upkeep.

It actually doesn't bother me since one, she gets hit on all the time despite her total lack of self-esteem, and 2, she knows it doesn't bother me since her best friend is always trying to hit on me. AND what did I say to make my sex so obvious? =)
