i havent tried it yet because i have to figure out how i can steam something with out a dedicated steamer

Abalone is one. I've always heard how amazing it is, but never even seen it on a menu and stuff. Puffer fish cause homer simpson.

I am pretty open to trying most any type of food, but there is one I don't think I could even try: balut.

Bear meat. It seems like it would have decent marbling. Usually I have no qualms about just picking something new and interesting up in the grocery store if I notice it. Saag looks neat, too. I mean, it really looks like cafeteria food from a kids' show, but I like the ingredients well enough and need to eat more vegetables anyway.

I've been willing to try Stinky Tofu for a long time but the horrible smell always puts me off.
It's funny because I've tried much weirder stuff before but I still can't muster up the courage to eat that smelly stuff.

My dad's girlfriend eats chicken feet. I'd be willing to give it a shot, but I can't imagine it being any better than those lame awkwardly crunchy ends of chicken wings that they chop off when making buffalo wings.

chicken feet are delicious. they aren't crunchy, it's actually melty, kinda like cooked fat. Imagine eating the best chicken stock you've ever had in your entire life. that's chicken feet.

OT, cats and people. Although I'm a vegetarian so that's probably not gonna happen and I heard eating people is illegal anyways.

My knowledge about strange food seems rather limited all of a sudden.

Had some when I was a teenager. It was a young bear, so the meat was tender. Could cut it with a fork. Delicious.


I'm fairly open to trying new foods, but probably couldn't bring myself to eat eyeballs. Can't think of anything offhand that I've seen and not tried.

Oh yeah, that sounds awesome. I mean, I'm more partial to bacon fat, which I would chew on for hours if it wouldn't lead to a heart attack in 20-odd years, but chicken stock's not bad either. Now I want some.

One bear could probably also feed a small army. Awesome. That's like the meat version of a win-win if anything.

Last summer, I ordered some from Ithis online shop and ate a whole can by myself. They ship worldwide as far as I know. The smell is nowhere as bad as what I've heard, the taste on the other hand is... intense.

I would advice you to buy it in fillets. Avoiding the overkill of bones is worth the extra buck.
