EDIT: Woa! Just watched some gameplay videos on YouTube. Is the game really that BAD!?

Hrmm. Did this game have any publicity at ALL? I seriously remember the first I saw of it was on its release day on Steam, and I had to go back to GOG.com and check their game catalogue to see if it was the sequel I thought it was.

That's a shame. The brand value of "Flatout" is excellent after the first two games, but it sounds like they're going to run it into the ground?

Oh man that is such a shame. I quite liked the .. umm.. rage you can build up while grinning like a maniac in the earlier games. Only just recently got the first game again (a very kind person gifted it to me) so I was kinda hyped for this one..

.. now, not so much :(

I've only seen a few videos on youtube, read several opinions, and it seems it's just a horrible installment, completely different from previous Flatouts... It really appears to be much more like a Crash'n'Burn/Crashday clone, and these two games were actually average 4-6 years ago.

Obviously that's because Bugbear team isn't involved this time. If it were 5 EUR I would consider it just for the sake of completion (completed careers in Flatout 1, Flatout 2 and Flatout: Head On). Guess will have to wait till next holiday sale.

$30 for a budget game sounds like a rip-off.
