So who is winning so far?

The debates or the election? If debates, Romney won the first debate by a landslide. If election, and if you take some of the recent polls at face value, probably Obama by 1-2 points. My personal opinion is that Romney will narrowly win the electoral college but win by significanly more in the popular vote with a margin of +3 or +4.

Exactly. Do you feel so inadequate in your life that you have to interject your completely uninformed opinions so assertively? It's ok to say you just don't have a clue. People will actually respect you more for trying to learn rather than taking a position based on absolutely nothing and acting pompous about it.

You realize that you're opinion of me being so "misinformed" is entirely based on your bullheaded assumptions that you are 100% correct, right? It's like that old pot and kettle saying, how does that go again?

The fact that so many people actually take that crackpot shit seriously these days (and don't even understand its shortcomings while doing so) is sad, but I've found there really is nothing to discuss with people who are so convinced about it. We're not in the same reality, so whatever, nothing to discuss.

So I've now asked you three times to provide some justification for your opinions and you just can't do it. I'm sure it's because you just can't be bothered to trouble yourself with knowledge or facts; not because you are mindlessly devoted to a set of principles you can't even justify to yourself (let alone others).

Because I want you to learn from this, here's a white paper I've used on occassion in my classes so you can actually be prepared to justify your positions. It's written with a demand-side slant so you can learn while maintaining your feverish political and economic biases.

I think you are confusing my "opting out" of having a fruitless and irrational discussion with you as something other than it is. Your predispositions make any discussion I might actually want to have impossible, you're as close minded as you've ever accused me of being. So believe what you want to believe, it doesn't matter, most of the people voting won't be doing so with any reasonable level of knowledge, so who gives a fuck?
