Yes, Pale Moon is one of the best Firefox fork for Windows only - unfortunately.

I'm considering trying SeaMonkey on Linux - never used it before but a number of people on the mozillaZine forums suggested it as a replacement for Firefox even on Windows (when the Australis version comes out).

It's a shame because Fx was the best, and now rather than build on what they achieved, they've decided to ape whatever Chrome is doing without considering that people who want to use Chrome would probably already have switched.

In case you're wondering, this is because of a relatively recent spambot problem. The forum was flooded with links to sites that no one cares about, and the solution was to prohibit members with five rep or less (I think) from posting links. It's not ideal since it confuses new members and also prevents older but unpopular ones from taking part when they might have something positive to say for a change, but at least it seems to be keeping the spam away.

Having issues with firefox lately. Running version 23.0.1. Printing completely sucks, it prints zoomed in and despite dropping to 80% it still clips what I am printing. Prints correctly with IE. Also, just recently I am having issues checking boxes and clicking on submit buttons, works with IE.
I may have to give Chrome another look, because the printing feature is a PITA and if the checkboxes thing is not fixed it is unusable.

Check if the issues persist in the safe mode of Firefox.

As for the checkboxes, I think the website must be encoded in some bastardized IE. It works in IE, but not in firefox...but most websites I do not have a problem with checkboxes with firefox. Safe Mode didn't work for that site.
As for the printing, that has gone on since day one. I just think the print functions in firefox are crappy or the webpages I try to print are formatted for IE.

On my android phone (samsung galaxy ace - using dolphin browser) I have to hold on the drop down menus until the options for open new tab etc appear, then back out of those options and as long as the page has fully loaded, i can select from there.

The website should work flawless in Firefox. If it isn't, I would recommend disabling all of your extensions to narrow down which one is causing problems, or very carefully review the configuration of them. Almost all problems related to Firefox on websites are the result of an extension either misconfigured or misbehaving.

I'm able to use GOG.com with Firefox on Windows 7 and on Linux with no problems. I've got about 45 extensions installed including NoScript, AdBlock Plus, Ghostery, Disconnect, Cookie Monster and many others which by their design may interfere with websites. Properly configured however, it works fine.

If disabling extensions doesn't do the job (ie: safe mode), try creating a new Firefox profile by starting it with the -P option if memory serves correct.

Hope this helps. Do you have Javascript disabled or blocked by an extension?

It's the only borderline plausible explanation for their absolutely bizarre antics of late. The choosing to label minor patches as major revisions. Taking away the smart folders. The complete failure to recognize that they have a mature product and to not change things drastically on a whim.

They spend so much time aping Chrome that I've got no idea why they're still developing Fx. It used to be a good browser, but they spend so much time obsessing over features that Chrome has and neglecting the ones that Fx has, that it's just getting worse.

Just updated to the new Firefox version (24) and so far it seems like printing is a little better. It still is not good at detecting whether to print in Landscape or portrait (have to manually change that), but it has not been printing oversized like it was before.
Not all checkboxes work, it's just on a few web pages. The one I noticed recently was for Hampton Inn hotel chain. The use HHonor's rewards points checkbox doesn't work in FF, but it does in IE. The one below that one (Flexible dates) works in both browsers.

That doesn't work neither in Chrome nor in Firefox because a different element overlaps that checkbox and captures the click event (from lousy investigation). So it's the site's fault.
