Hey GOG, I just found an old X360 copy of Final Fantasy XI that I hadn't used any activation codes on yet, so I went and activated them all on PlayOnline.com and started my trial, so I went to my Xbox, put the disc in and I need a hard drive to play, and I only have the 4GB Slim model, so I couldn't play it, so then I went searching for a PC client and I couldn't find one, If you guys could point me towards one that would be great. thanks.

Didn't they shut down the game servers in favor of FFXIV ?

I'm amazed there are still people out here playing the XI...

I know the client is still available on Steam.

After the problems XIV is having I wouldn't be surprised if they focus more on XI.

I'm not sure if you can legally download a PC FFXI client without paying for it. Also, I don't think the 360 and PC servers intermingle, so your 360 FFXI code likely won't work on PC. You could always contact Square Enix and explain your situation, you never know, if you're polite sometimes a company's customer support team will help you out, Otherwise I guess you could pirate the client and then sign up for the PC version that way.

When I registered the codes it was all cross platform it said: Final Fantasy XI PS2,XBOX360

All of FFXI is indeed cross platform. And if you want to do a free trial you download the fre trial client from http://www.ff11europe.com/freetrial/ . Otherwise you can purchase the game from Origin (GameStop), Steam or directly from SE itself.
