As I said above, GOG only sell games that they can sell worldwide. They won't sell a game if they can't sell it in all countries. So, if the game has restrictions on other sites, that's a good indicator that it won't be sold here. To add to that, every time Square have been asked to sell this in Japan, they have said no.

Ah, I have misunderstood you. I didn't get that the game is not available via Steam in Japan.

Oh my God this game has an horrible "feature": when you save, a message pop saying "Saved stored locally", when you unlock an achievement a message pop "Achievement sync with server"....I hope I can take out those messages :\
