Next, Final Fantasy III is coming to PC. A rating by Germany’s USK board leaked the news.
Great news, a friend just sent that to me!
In light of their recent comments, by 'PC' I take it they mean Steam + Square Enix account. To play a single-player game. :(
Nope, not great news at all with their drm love.

And for a game I can easily emulate :P

I rather pay for Final Fantasy 1 PSP/iOS version here.
So...what's it going to be based off of? The DS port, or something else entirely?

Either way, meh.

The report said it's a port of the DS version.
One of the games from a legendary series is finally getting a PC port after all these year?
This is awesome news!
Stuff you moaning minnies!

The other Final Fantasy re-releases had SecuROM outside of Steam (in addition to the Square Enix account requirement).
Hoo boy, has it been 7 years already ever since the DS version? How time flies by...

Aaaaaannnd there goes my enthusiasm...
I would be excited if Square Enix wasn't so adamant about DRM.

As it stands, I'll just get the DS version.

There may be choice - see here :-P
Meh. Rather play it on SNES emulator.
I'm looking forward to this one. :D
I find it hilariously ironic someone who was comparing game censorship to nazis, is celebrating a release by a company who drm's their games up the anus. I hate to be that guy, but it's funny as hell.
