To sum up: Phil Fish had a bit of a fight with the host of the show Invisible Walls, from Gametrailers, on Twitter. Then said Fez 2 was cancelled, locked his Twitter, and now the official Polytron account is reiterating it with: "It's with a heavy heart that we announce that FEZ II has been cancelled and is no longer in development. We apologize for the disappointment."

I don't think he'll actually cancel it, but the whole thing has been peculiar, to say the least.

Well it is a way to get publicity, I'm just not sure being an online crybaby and douche is quite the way to go about it.
Than again, they do say there is no such thing as negative publicity.

As far as I can tell it's the only way Phil Fish knows to get attention.

Anyway, some guy I don't know was an immature asshole on Twitter to some other guy I don't know, how is this news? It must happen a lot every day.

I can never work out if he's trying to create a Kaufmanesque persona, or if he really is so bad at dealing with criticism that it turns him into a reflection of the most toxic sample of the gaming community.

Depending on the answer, he could be a genius. Probably not though.

Anyone remembers how the douchenozzle whined that you shouldn't boycott Fez so as not to punish his innocent team members for his assholery?

I guess this sort of thing is bound to happen when you don't have to worry about flowing a publishers rules, and keeping them happy. Indi' developers interact more like people than like companies. Weather that's good or bad? I'll keep my opinions to myself.

Phil Fish, you made a great game, now can you please stop acting like the biggest cunt on the internet?
