Selderij: The information hadn't yet been released, therefore nobody could have known about the details beforehand, especially not anyone who would have been a prime candidate for collaboration in the matter? Did you know that the two developers had nothing to do with Microsoft's self-publishing maneuver, and how did you come in possession of such knowledge?

hedwards: LOL, you're on a fishing expedition.

The point is that GI didn't have the information, nor was there any reason to believe that they had the information. What's more, until such an announcement is made, nobody is likely to know the final form of the plan, not even people working at MS making the plans as such plans are usually up for last minute revision as needed.

Anyways, I've got better things to do.
I'm sure you've got better things to do, such as leaving a conversation where your ass-backwards logic has been exposed.

LOL, so, in other words, you don't know anything about this and are hoping that nobody will notice. Good one. I will remember in the future not to waste my time responding to you.

If you like, read the giant bomb article where they state it was just a rumour (and appear to me to confirm that asking blowfish for comments was bad form). Seems that, as people in the industry, their view should be given some weight

Reading this thread, it's quite clear that you had the most difficulty grasping what this scandal was about. The fact that you expect clairvoyance on the media's part makes your position a laughable one.

Oh, and that's two times you've used the classic "lol not taking you seriously – see ya" escape already, utterly asserting your intellectual and social dominance over me in this debate of reason, especially after not leaving the conversation at all. Are we going to get a devastating third one in a row?
You two should watch the video that Mrstarker linked.

Mrstarker: And, speaking of opinions on the internet, here are Jim Sterling's thoughts on the matter:
